He's neither. The DNC feeds people lies about their party like they told us Biden was "sharp and tireless". At this point, I have no idea why you knowingly support a party that did nothing but lie with every breath they could muster. I pray they put in Pete as the VP, because nobody likes that guy either.

Who is really running the country?

You are the one that used the word "force". We know Joe can be stubborn. We know a lot of people were shocked by his debate performance and subtle or not hinted that he should realize after that performance that he is not up to it. That's why there was talk that maybe the only person who could persuade him would be Jill, but she supported her husband. She shares his vision and belief in his physical abilities.

There is no nefarious framing of this to make Jill be the bad person.

You’re not understanding what I’ve been saying. There have been people who have claimed Jill wouldn’t allow him to drop out. I just merely pointed out clearly that isn’t the case.

Not that it would have made a difference.

That settles it, any negative comments about the Harris campaign will be met with accusations of racism, sexism and discrimination. Classic demoNcrat playbook stuff.

If there's one thing we know, it's that Biden is a quitter.

You guys have literally been calling for an end to all criticism of Trump, saying it promotes terrorism. And you've been making negative comments about Harris for years that haven't invoked these same responses. Just stick to the criticism of her performance in law or her policies you disagree with and not calling her DEI and using those lame arguments about her sleeping her way to the top and you'll be fine.

There were some screwups(the response to COVID didn’t have to be overhanded and I actually respect Trump trying to hold a traditional conservative position on government intervention. But it should’ve been more flexible.)

And of course 1/6/2020 is one of the more sorrowful days in our country’s history. As you know, I didn’t/don’t subscribe to histrionics. Were we at risk of being “overthrown”? Hell no. But it was a debacle nevertheless and should’ve never happened.

Had Trump simply conceded, he would’ve been 10+ points ahead right now.

But despite those missteps, we were never at the brink. I think we’re all aware that we’re at the brink. It was President Biden who took us in this direction.

Right now, we’re in a 21st century version of the July Crisis. Any incident in the contested zones or even Syria could cause something catastrophic akin to Saigon 1972.

And there’s not a single one of us who actually wants that, fighting for democracy be damned.

The democrats don’t have a plan for getting us out of this stupid mess. Does Trump? Probably not, but foreign policy is his strongest asset. We had peace time under Trump.

Not so much with the present leadership.

Only an outright isolationist who wants to abandon all of our allies would ever call foreign policy Trump's strongest asset, dude. And, no. We didn't have world peace under Trump. There were still global conflicts. The only difference was Trump constantly threatening to abandon our allies.

Abandon or threaten them to pay their fair share? If you want to talk about being abandoned, then start talking about Afghanistan.

He's trying to blame Trump for the "Schumer Shutdown"

The turn of events Monday marked the most serious cracks in the unity Schumer has painstakingly built within his caucus since he became Democratic leader a year ago. After holding almost all Democrats together through fights over the Supreme Court, health care, taxes and even Friday’s vote that shut down the government, Schumer is now under attack from the left and confronting pointed criticism of his negotiating skill.

His performance resulted in a Democratic-led shutdown — and an agreement with McConnell that provided no guarantee of a new immigration law. But multiple Democratic senators and aides told POLITICO in the aftermath that it might have been Schumer’s only way out: He couldn’t go against the bulk of his left-leaning caucus in fighting for DACA recipients. But he also could not allow the shutdown to drag on for so long that it began hurting his vulnerable incumbents.
