True...but it wasnt just Schumer. Democrats and their voters insisted on shutting down the country...the economy and schools especially...for years and fought like hell to keep them all closed (and keep those sweet government paydays flowing).

 

Unfortunately, the Americans who are part of his tribe aren't tired of hearing his grievances. But I'm okay with that - as you said, Dems will be selling hope and Trump will be selling revenge. I don't know about others, but I wouldn't keep a friend who was so obsessed with being a victim and plotting revenge - much less hire him to run the country!!!

I doubt it. He had previously bailed on RNC debates and his previous debates against Biden. And he typically doesn't do well in debates and is really sensitive about that. But, hey, maybe he will surprise me and show he has integrity . . . for perhaps the first time in his life. I'll praise him for it if he does.

You got me wondering, so I looked it up. Turns out Kamala is descended from Tamil Brahmins, and Vivek Ramaswamy is from a family of Kerala Brahmins. We didn't get deep enough into "who's who" in Hinduism during an elective course I took back in college to fulfil a requirement, so I don't know if the antipathy between Kamala and Vivek has its origins in who is in what caste (or sub-caste). One thing was clear, though -- Brahmins, generally, were (and are) top-dogs in the society of India!

In a very short-fused poll I started here three weeks ago, I asked Black Forum members if they thought Kamala is an "authentic" Black or not. The participation was numerically very low (I put a duration on the poll of only three days), but not one person voting agreed that Kamala is authentically Black....

."...and you White people find that surprising...?" .

 

So democrats just ignore the primaries now, appoint their own candidate?

This going to be a fun few months exposing their lack of care about a democracy.

Then we will press them on who's been running the country since the guy elected clearly isn't.

What you don't understand is that the Democratic Party doesn't cultivate a cult of personality.

There are plenty of quality liberal candidates capable of running the country and carrying out the political agenda of what the majority wants.

On the conservative side, there's only Trump.
