Biden and the left have had their fingers up their ass for far too long on the Coronavirus.

    1. The entire world cannot be vaccinated in just a day or two. Because of this variants are bound to develop and spread. Due to this, no amount of vaccinations will stop variants from forming.

    2. It has been clearly shown that from the beginning up to now, animals can also harbor the virus and create variants. We cannot vaccinate the entire human population of the world and the entire world populations of animals which can harbor the virus in just a few days time, which allows tons of time for variants to form. It is a fairy tale to believe that high vaccination rates will stop another variant from forming.

    3. The vaccinations seemed to work much better on the earlier variants but even the CDC has recently acknowledged that they do little to stop the spread of the Delta variant. So, anyone who believes that if we had a 100% vaccination rate that the virus would stop in it's tracks is just delusional.

    4. Breakthrough infections are common with the Delta variant. It has been that way since the Delta variant began spreading. It just wan't noticed until the whole world found Delta to be the dominant strain. Breakthroug infections were once thought of as rare because back then there were less cases of the Delta variant. As time went on and on and more and more cases of Delta spread around the world, breakthrough infections became more and more common. Surprise, surprise.

    5. The most highly vaccinated places on the planet at about 90% experience surges, meaning that there is no level to which herd immunity would be achieved. So, anyone who thinks vaccinations are the way out of the pandemic is delusional.

    6. The left spent way too much time mistakenly thinking that they could achieve universal vaccination rates, even applying mandates. They should have realized from the very beginning that that would be clearly impossible. They constantly misjudged what they referred to as herd immunity. First it was like 70% and they have steadily increased the numbers on a regular basis, and yet still don't see that even in the countries with 90% vaccination rates, cases are still surging. No matter what was done, there were going to be about 25% - 33% of people would outright refuse to be vaccinated. This was not rocket science to figure out. We have had years and years and years of history which showed this to be the case but the left could not see this. It took them by surprise.

    7. The left have never really admitted to their very own facts showing that most of the masks people wear are only 10% effective. They have continued to imply that masks make people safe, even when their own stats show that masks only make them 10% safer than they were before.

    8. The virus has continued spreading because the left have continued to blame the unvaccinated and the unmasked for the spread of the virus while seemingly oblivious to the fact that vaccinated people spread the virus and masked people spread the virus.

So, I give Biden and the powers that be a huge pat on the back for working on treatments that will actually mitigate the effects of the virus to anyone who actually comes down with it, finally acknowledging that masks and vaccines aren't enough to fight the pandemic.

    .... and then there's this.

Japan’s fifth wave of Covid-19 has virtually disappeared so dramatically that some scientists are puzzled as to why it happened. One team suggests the highly infectious Delta strain mutated into extinction on the island nation.

In mid-August, Japan experienced a peak in Covid-19 infections, recording over 23,000 new cases per day. Now the metric is just around 170, with deaths attributed to the disease mostly remaining in single digits this month.

    Graph from world-o-meter confirms this.

And if you look at a current pandemic map of the US you will see that the most uneffected current areas in the country are both Florida and Texas. Pretty much everywhere else cases are either in the orange or the red.
