My first reaction to this BS was "un-freakin'-believable, but it's entirely believable coming from Biden and his party:

Let's go Brandon - Penalize responsible people to reward irresponsible people.

Perhaps, that imbecile would care to explain how that makes housing more affordable to people with good credit.

Welcome to Joe Biden's crap version of America, folks. :boo:

First democrats bought votes with Obamacare.

Then they bought votes with student loan forgiveness.

Now they’re buying votes with this.

Democrats are always taking money away and giving to people who have less money just so they continue to vote for democrats in the future.

It would appear as though those that don't pay their bills vote for Dems. Perhaps they can just give out free cash, homes and a diploma in the voting booth.

For republican “ oh my goodness , the sky is falling”.

For rest of us , this is call living in civilized world.

My FICO score is 826 as of today. I can get any credit card I want with ZERO % interest, my last car loan interest was 0.75% and my mortgage rate is 3.0%.

But my fico score was not always 826. It took me almost 10 years to rebuild my FICO score. I remember at one point my FICO score was 480. I remember once a guy in our local bank told me “ I never seen such a bad credit score in my life”. My credit score was not so low because I was careless with my credit and money. We were fresh out of college and newly wed with student loan and was trying to survive.

I couldn’t get a decent credit card, I couldn’t get a decent car loan. I remember one time I ended up borrowing money from those ‘Pay day Loan” , which took me year and half to pay off. We had to wait almost 10 years before we could buy our first home. I wish there was a Federal program which could help me to buy a house back then or get a loan.

My wife and I worked hard all our lives, saved money for our future. We are not wealthy but we are financially secure. I have no problem paying $40 extra on my mortgage if that helps those who are trying to survive in this cruel world.

I never f&&& understand what the f&&& problem with conservatives to help who are less fortunate then they are. You worked hard and made something out of yourself, that’s great. I admire your hard work. But I sure don’t f%%% understand why the f%%% you have problem helping those who are less fortunate then you.

The best way to help someone isn’t to do something for them, the best help is showing them how to do it so they don’t need help. If you can do it then so can everyone else.

When I help people it’s because I choose who to voluntarily help. Biden is forcing certain people to help and you can bet your left nut he’s going to take credit for it and not give any credit to the people who he’s taking the money from.

Actually, it's called living in an irresponsible world. Punishing responsible people to reward irresponsible people is irresponsible.

Spare us the sanctimonious bullshit, thank you.

I've been poor myself and punishing responsible people to reward irresponsible people is the last way to help people. Not only is it irresponsible, it is unfair, and the notion that everyone with a good credit rating is "fortunate" or wealthy is disingenuous nonsense.

I'm all for helping people, particularly young people, get a home provided 1) they can afford it and 2) they aren't irresponsible people who don't pay their bills. Lest you've forgotten, this is precisely what precipitated the Housing Crash in the 2000s - people buying homes they couldn't afford and then failing to pay their mortgages.

Wake the hell up - we should be encouraging responsibility in this country, not irresponsibility. Encouraging irresponsibility in people never ends well for anyone....except unscrupulous and corrupt politicians like Joe Biden.

    Aha the lecture.

When my FICO score was 570 and I had less then $1800 toward to buy a home, all these lecture sounded f%%% “holier than thou” .

Back then people advised me “ you should live within your means’, “ you should work hard and don’t expect someone give you hand out” , “ you will not learn unless you earn yourselves”.

All I wanted to tell them “F%%% off”.

As I said , we are not wealthy , we are not rich, but my wife and I are better then many others because we worked hard all our lives. But if I see someone struggling, if I see someone needs something I can provide. I have no problem lending them my hand then giving them lecture and pretend I am holier then them!

Doing this again as we head into the worst housing market numbers of all time is pretty daft. Literally the only way I can explain leftist behavior these days is if we assume that they want everything to collapse, yet they have no coherent plans for a new system.

People are not poor or have lot a loan only because they are irresponsible. Most people want to pay their bills, most people want to live with in their means, most people want to earn and make there living.

Poor people don’t need your sanctimonious bullshit about people are poor because they are irresponsible.

The whole democrat notion that community fairness takes priority over individual achievement is down right sickening. Democrats make me vomit with complete and utter disgust.

Call me skeptical. My dad has a credit score of 825, owns multiple properties, and his new credit card offers are in the 20% APR range.

Most hospitals will work out payment schedules based on your income, so this won't fly. In fact, you may be able to have them forgiven.

What makes you better than anyone else? If you could do it on your own then others can likewise. No one should be forced to subsidize another. That's not charity; that's theft.

How about you tell your illustrious president to allow people to make the individual choice to help others instead of using the government to Rob others against their will

Are we just trying to create another subprime lending mortgage crisis? Because look how well the last one turned out.
Is that the best answer you can possibly come up with?

So we should give people loans they won't be able to afford and try to subsidize it by jacking up the mortgage on people that can actually afford it?

That sounds like a very solid economic decision to me..... If I had the same flavor oatmeal for brains that Biden does

The question is always why. If they qualify for a loan then there's no reason to help them. But if they don't then why should I have to pay their way? Charity is a decision left up to the individual, not the government.
