No, he wasn't there on the night of 15th when the riots took place.

Well . . . truthfully this is all about the leftwing media and operatives being enraged that after deliberately ignoring every effort by people who actually knew the truth about Brian William's lies to gain the MSM's attention for over a decade FINALLY having to 'discover' it and so they are determined to commit a tit-for-tat sort of ideological revenge by way of nitpicking over the Fox News host's history; which should have ended the instant that the former NBC freaking executive vouched for the legitimacy of said host's claims.

You have proof he left prior to the riots on the 15th?

    Yes!

They surrendered 2 PM on the 14th, and CBS sent him home the very next day, the 15th. The riots didn't happen until the night of the 15th with O'Lielly already sent packing by CBS..

All you have to do is get the video from CBS about what happened the night that they surrendered. The Argentinians, in Buenos Aires - it certainly was a war zone where bullets were being shot, people were going down.

This confrontation led the next day to O'Reilly being ordered out of Argentina by the CBS bosses. Doyle had told them O'Reilly was a 'disruptive force' who threatened his bureau's morale and cohesion.

Once again, ordered to leave doesn't mean he actually left.

Well, ordered to leave certainly means he was not doing any coverage for CBS from that point on.

No. I refuse to watch either Fox News or MSNBC. I prefer actual news.

Strange, I said that because there was little coverage of Hillary's "sniper attack" story on the MSM.

    LMAO...Hell, yes.
The US economy has improved significantly since Bush jr threw it under the bus by giving the rich a tax cut and then launching two wars without a way to pay for them, and in spite of six years of repub obstructionism and repeated attempts to hurt the economy with their extremist stunts about the debt ceiling and government shutdowns.

Yeah, millions more people are not in the workforce, the rich are getting richer, wages are lower, millions more on welfare and disability, the stock market is propped up by the federal government and healthcare deductibles are throughout the roof and principles are skyrocketing .
So, hell yes, it's Obama's economy, finally!

David Corn argues otherwise when Interviewed Monday by Hugh Hewitt.
Corn saying he defies anyone to prove it was a " War Zone ".
That he saw the film footage and did more then due diligence in making
sure he had the facts on his side before running with the story.
Of course Hewitt also asked Corn about his Polk award.
The Polk is awarded to those who demonstrate being INTREPID.
Meaning almost fearless in getting a story.Corn basically got a Polk
Award for getting a hold of tape {cellphone } where Mitt Romney is
clearly heard telling a private gathering about the 47%
Hewitt wondered how much " intrepidness " that involved.Corn eventually
hung up on Hewitt's radio interview.

Typical Right-wing half-truth. Corn agreed to do a 1/2 hour interview and after 3/4 hour got tired of Hewitt wasting his time with off-topic nonsense.

Whatever guys, this thread is one if the worst on PF.

Seems like hyper left people hate Oreilly and think he's lying. The other 70% or so see it as nothing or a word slip.

It is still funny to me though that this comes right after the Brian Williams story. Nothing but "getting back" which is what politics now days are about.

Except the Left don't like Williams. They remember him as a Bush shill pushing the Iraq war fiasco 110%

Yeah, it was just a slip of the tongue to say multiple times that he was in the war zone of the Falklands.

IIRC, they didn't roll out tanks to deal with protesters in Ferguson.

During Vietnam, I was in the United States when it was at war. Does that count, too?
