Yeah, I get it, sometimes employees get injured trying to stop criminals. But why in the world would you make it illegal to stop criminals if you can do it safely? Like it says in the article, every thief who knows about this law, and sooner or later they all will, can now waltz into a store and take what they want knowing no one will stop them.

If I owned a mom and pop business in CA, I’d get myself a stun gun or taser and keep it behind the counter. If CA won’t protect me, then I’ll protect myself.

I think when they walk out of the store with the goods the employees should at last be able to tell them to enjoy the 5 finger discount. Also, dont' expect many replies in here. Libs want to pretend crime isn't an issue unless its the crime of misgendering or something along those lines.

Better still, move out of the state. California is the home of "free stores." Why pay for anything if you can walk out with it? If it's less than, what it, $850, it's yours for free.

It will be interesting to see how long the state is still livable once the criminals have taken over and everything is free. I guess Californians will get by from stealing from each other.
