If he was an amateur nerves would play a role in how he attempted to assassinate Trump.

The Lincoln project really thumped out about him being like Hitler. Literally put ads in about that.

 

My question is, why did the SS sniper wait until after Trump was shot to take down the bad guy, when he clearly had him in the crosshairs well before the would-be assassin even started shooting? I realize any answer would be speculative at this point, just looking for opinions.

The question is was it failure because the assassination attempt failed or was it failure because they didn't stop it?

One thing is sure, Trump's reaction was iconic. It will make the history books. The defiant courage with which he responded had an immediate impact on the crowd and on the world. The man has balls of steel. If he makes it to the election, there is absolutely no way he will lose it. It will be a landslide for the ages. People respond to physical courage at an instinctual level (I certainly did). I had posted previously that I would not vote for Trump this election. This attempt on his life and his response changed by mind. I will be voting for him. The only way the Democrats can stop Trump now is to kill him.

Supposedly, the guy was only there for three minutes or less and the roof slanted away from where the president was speaking this giving him some at least partial concealment. I also imagine snipers had to determine if he was just a fan trying to get a look at his favorite candidate or if he was a potential threat. BTW according to the break down Ryan McBeth did on substack the S.S. sniper had to fire through a tree's branches so it wasn't an easy shot. The sniper still got a head shot though.

Blame anyone you want, but the shooter was a registered Republican.

It seems Republicans are turning on each other.

As expected, some Republican politicians are openly accusing Biden for the event.

Umm.......ok. Of course it's true, that Trump would be quick to deliver Ukraine to his allies in Kremlin and not all Republicans are happy about it.

The picture looks like him and it has his name. I am waiting to see if media/experts feel it to be authentic or not. At least to my untrained eye it looks real.

Probably. Also, it seems the guy didn't have much experience with rifles and may not even have known how to zero his rifle. There was wind blowing as well which would have needed to be compensated for but he doesn't seem to have known that. I would guess the guy's only experience with firearms was from playing video games because 400ft from an elevated position should have been an easy shot

Granted, the last time I fired a rifle was 20 years ago in the Army.

Pennsylvania is a closed primary state so he easily could have registered as a Republican just to vote against Trump in the recent primary.

Well thats one way to ensure you are literally brain dead. Anyone with 2 functioning braincells would realize they are no match for a bullet. But not trump, he's damaged goods.

Plenty of conservative Republicans hate him, and what he has done to the Republican party. The party is not even considered to be conservative anymore.

 

If you knew what you were talking about, or even just watched the video, the secret service had given the all clear and stated the shooter was down before the secret service got Trump back up (they had jumped on top of him to form a human shield) at which time the picture was taken.

Maybe learn about on how the secret service operates before you make sweeping statements?
