    Let's wait and see who is responsible. I remember when Allard Lowenstein-a man I disagreed with politically but whom I admired and liked ever since I was tasked with escorting him around Yale years ago-was assassinated the first speculation was it was some right wing nut. Turns out it was a former supporter who thought Ambassador Lowenstein didn't move fast enough to the left.

    When my wife says, "Is this the country we are now? Is this some ****ing third world country? He's going to win in a landslide now" you know it's bad.

    This is why the communists here are acting like this. They know what this means.

    It doesn't contradict a damn thing.

    The right gloms onto conspiracy theories like a lamprey on a fish.

    Right now, I have NO doubt, the conspiracy engine is in overdrive trying to find a way to blame Biden for this.

    I'm just pointing out that you COULD make a case that Trump was behind it.

    I don't believe that. In fact I don't believe ANYTHING right now without more facts.

    The eye witness report saying the shooter was on a water tower seems odd to me. Not sure I believe the secret service would let that happen.

    Yes we predicted the Democratic Party would assassinate Trump if they couldn't get him via lawfare. They for damn sure aren't interested in letting the American people decide. They will have us in a Civil War before they ever let Trump in the White House again. After this, Trump has no choice but to bring the hammer down on them. The raw courage of Trump in response to this outrage on our system of governance has tipped it for me. He won my vote. I hope to God the Democrat Party doesn't murder him before I get to cast it. This is only their first shot. There will be more.

    Most political gun violence has nothing to do with political affiliation. It sometimes does, and it happens on both sides of the aisle. But the simple fact is gun violence is a constant now and occurs everywhere from a parade to outside the school, at a car wash, etc. Our history has been replete with political assassinations beginning with the first successful attempt of Abraham Lincoln.

    I have a great idea everyone. Let's wait to see who is responsible. It could be a far lefty, a far righty, or just a plain anarchistic nutcase. someone apparently took a serious head wound according to a witness currently testifying on CBS right now. The witness claims to be a Trump supporter and doctor. One source is saying that two people are dead-the shooter and a rally attendee.

    From what little we have been told so far, I am betting this was somebody with a rifle, likely several hundred meters away.

    And in the videos of the scene there are a lot of trees in the distance. Not hard to imagine somebody firing from one of them.
