Bud light sales are cratering...along with other A/B beers

The Republican 'leaders' 'have asked conservatives to stop boycotting Bud Light because they contribute to Republican candidates and the Republican Party.'

These "leaders" are in it for the money. Republicans are not "led" we are "represented" and apparently these "leaders" don't understand that.

We don't take diktats, we support 'candidates who are supposed to protect our individual rights' and don't kowtow to mean little guys who mock and demean women for profit.

Trump used to understand this, but seems to have forgotten

But then Trump used to be a Democrat and Democrats are much more given to the top down model.

'When Bud Light engaged Dylan Mulvaney as a spokesmodel and its Vice President explained that the company wanted to dump its current customers for a higher class of people, a funny thing happened: conservatives agreed to leave the beer for alternatives.'

    Enjoy being the Transgender Beer.

'Despite the pleadings of the Establishment, conservatives have been leaving the brand in droves', and the informal boycott has created a “reverse halo” effect that is harming other Anheuser-Busch brands as well.

Sales cratered after the Trans roll out:
    • Week 1 - Minus 11%
    • Week 2 - Minus 21% from the new low.
    • Week 3 - Minus 26% from the new low.
    Losses still increasing.

'Rather than blowing over, the problem is snowballing and beginning to hurt other brands. Michelob Ultra, for instance, originally picked up some sales as a Bud Light alternative until people realized it, too, was an Anheuser-Busch product. So people switched again.'

I'd say that the heartland of America is done with A/B.

Please discuss the sheer awesomeness of American Freedom and Free Markets, where We The People can make free choices about who we wish to do business with and for any product or service there are a number of choices, in case one of them decides to be represented by an opportunist who mocks and demeaning of women.

So let me get this straight. You want to influence how this country is run, but you don't want to do it via elected officials who currently take money from this corporation, so your solution is to tell them to get money from...who?

As for mocking and demeaning women, just simply no. That was not the intent.

As for boycotting Bud light, everyone should. It sucks.

Hell of an opening followed by getting nothing straight.
Fake News. He's entire act is mock that demeans women as 1950's teen airheads.

They weren't impressed with their current customers and desired new ones, and well, their terms are acceptable.

Let's see if they're transsexuals and other assorted freaks can keep the company afloat.

If you want to troll someone next time you're in the store just get some Tampax and take them to the beer section and put them on top of Bud light. Lol

Always have a good opening act.

Based on...? I mean, I only know that she has been in a couple roles in theater, the Book of Mormon was one. So what act are you referring to? Or are you just upset that someone else did it instead of Tucker Carlson for once?

I've never been impressed with anyone who drinks Bud Lite. It shows a lack of taste. Literally. Again, you seem to think it will be a victory for you if Bud Lite somehow ceases to exist. No, it will be a victory for good beer.

That said, I wonder why trans people bother you guys so much? They say humans are the best projectors...

In any case, the only take aways are, stop caring what other people do so much, and if you're going to not drink Bud Lite, do it for the right reasons. Because it's a terrible product.

At first I didn't get the outrage but as I watched some of her videos it started making a little more sense. Especially her views on it being illegal to misgender someone and other extremist views. She also does portray women as ditzy. I could see why it would piss folks off. I think she also met with Joe Biden (but not sure on that). I'd rather Joe Biden be meeting with scientists and stuff but maybe he was interested in her new "gal pals". Her words, not mine!

I don't like trans-people, sorry I just creep out at the thought of them. I didn't ask to be this way it's just how it is.

No, spoken by someone who actually likes beer. If it helps, I have the same opinion of all Lite beers. So...liten up...? Maybe I am having snails for dinner...jealous?

I am a little. I love me some escargot, but I do sense a little elitism here because maybe you go to some special micro brewery and some people just like to go grab a six pack. Why not accept peoples rights to like whatever beverage they want?

I bet you do take a diktat from time-to-time.

You bought into Trumps election fraud diktat, hook, line and sinker.

Oh, you are accusing me of not accepting other people's choice of beer...well to be fair, I've never boycotted Bud Lite. I just don't like it. So do you know what I do? I don't buy it. And I have to be honest, I don't know any of the political leanings of the beers I like. And I don't care. Because I don't drink my political beliefs. But you're free to. You see, I don't care about punishing people for their beliefs, I just want to enjoy a beer from time to time and live my life. If someone wants to do that in a dress, why do I give a...you know.

So again, my point is stop caring about what other people do. If you like Bud Lite, drink it. If you don't, don't. If a trans person makes you give up something you like, why have you given that person so much power over what you put in your body???

There's a difference between discussion, which doesn't happen here much, and trying to convince others your right, which happens here all the time. :D I have no problem when people disagree with me. That's why I came here in the first place long ago. Before that I was on political crossfire but that place went under. But everyone just wants to win. Oh well. See my post above. People shouldn't give over their agency to what their favorite beer chooses to do marketing wise, in my opinion. I say the same thing about chic-fil-a. Just because you like it doesn't mean you agree with everything they do.

I'm sure we agree on more things than we disagree on. It's just people only post the stuff we disagree on! There are evils in the world, disagreeing is not one of them.

Don't confused heated discussions with trying to convince someone. If someone wants to agree to disagree with me, I'm good with it. The problem is they want me to agree with them, and then they keep replying to get me to do that. I don't see a need to. I'm fine disagreeing.
