Is that what you got? My thought was to show that it doesn't matter what area government is involved. Rather the corruption therein. I think the idea of America is still the best in the world. The problem is man. Corrupt of greed and power. Which is applicable and can be seen in every area of government. It's one thing to have a few bad apples here and there, and another to have a few good men here and there. The outcome for either speaks for itself.

I believe someone as yourself could figure out a way to get healthcare far better than what it is now. You would most likely use common sense, checks and balancing, when it comes to money. But that's because you would be figuring a way to benefit the country and not yourself! That is all I was getting at. Seriously, what's the problem? The problem is people in government, making things seem much harder than they actually are. All for political benefit (next election), and self benefit (greed).

The VA system is the most expensive healthcare in America... The government owns the facilities and employs doctors and staff. Roll those veterans into Medicare and sell off the facilities.

I think Veterans should be able to walk into any medical place (doctors office, hospital, etc), show their card and go straight to the front of the line (pending emergency situations). Of course one couldn't cut in front of someone who has a knife stuck in themselves. But I mean C'MON MAN (referring to government), they had no problem putting them on the frontlines before.

I think patients MUST have recourse where bad doctors are concerned.. Sue them and turn them in to your state medical board. I would NEVER recommend taking that away from Americans.

There have been studies done as to why some states are far more litigious than others where doctors and medical mal are concerned. PPOs and HMOs actually cause MORE lawsuits because people don't have the same doctor for years and years. Your doctor may not know you or your family at all... and you may not feel heard or valued as a patient.

I agree but I would add.....like they do in England, the loser pays! If a doctor takes a risk to save a life, that should be rewarded even if it fails. Negligence needs to be proven.
