Just being a doctor would tend to callous a person after a while. While I am convinced some go into the field with the best of intentions. I am also sure some are just after the money. My friends wife is a nurse and she says that many nurses are also in the field for the money. If not, why the heck do they charge a person nearly a years pay just for simple surgery?

 

Actually every time I have had surgery the biggest cost factors have not been the doctor. The actual cost for the surgeon has been trivial compared to the charges from the hospital.

 

This appears to be conclusive proof that one shouldn't believe everything they read. Suggest you should actually do real research.

 

I too have prostate cancer. Had it removed three years ago, had radiation and my PSA still reads.1 and steady. Can't lose for trying anything. How much baking soda to take daily? I have been taking Superbeets for 6 months. It is supposed to raise oxygen levels and it does give a boost in energy.

All I know is that my wife takes about one or two teaspoons in a glass of water once / day...... as a preventative measure. I am not sure at all how much people take who already were diagnosed and are attempting to use Ph balancing of their body to actually fight an already existing cancer?????

My wife and I are also both taking five thousand mgms of MSM daily for pain relief.... but Stanley Jacob M. D. felt that the evidence existed that MSM could also prevent a significant percentage of cancers........ or at least delay their onset.

... why should they take the time to become informed about all that it can do?

Is my impression that nearly fifty percent of income for most physicians is commissions from Big Pharma...... basically correct..... or terribly exaggerated?

 

And those hospitals have administrators who would not be entirely enthusiastic to admit that a significant percentage of the expensive equipment that they purchased over the last five years may have been proven to be relatively ineffective and obsolete........ depending on how we define that word.

 

It has been very obvious to me that if there is something that alleviates a condition, that is not recognized by the FDA 85% of MD'S will not recommend it.I contracted and suffered with giardia. It is an intestinal condition from drinking bad water while hiking. The MD had me on a very serious dose of anti biotics which really wrecked my good bacteria but didn't touch the giardia. At a fraction of the cost, I went to a herbalist that instructed me how to cure it with "black walnut and clove extract". Wiped it out in 30 days.

 

What does that have to do with anything?

Yes, in healthy people giardia normally goes away in about a month without treatment. And antibiotic treatment does require a few weeks.

Never have heard that before. I have known others younger than myself inflicted. It can last a very long time.

Exactly and had you waited you probably wouldn't have wasted your money on fake cures. That said experienced hikers know better.

I know that I read it somewhere....... from a source that looked good to me. It seems that
doctors in certain specialties earn more off commissions than other types of physicians do.

Please notice the word "most" in the following quotation...... we are talking here about over fifty
percent of income for doctors dealing with this particular specialty......
