Nobody has a right to enter a country unless they are a citizen.

I hear this a lot, but there are not inherent consequences to uttering words. Its stuff people create. Nobody is set on fire because of words. No one gets leukemia because of words. No one suffers traumatic brain injury because of words. But some people sure act as if they do.

Yes, it does. If they are barred from the country on entry they will be rejected at the point of entry.
And once they have claimed asylum, there’s a process by which they can be removed.

 

Free speech is an imperative right to ensure distance from authoritarianism and government propaganda leading to atrocities.
