Yes, because life expectancy implies something about quality of life.

Despite all the hype, I don't think the virus actually truly led to a significant drop in the life expectancy statistics. Although other factors caused by the shutdown did.
(Like old people prematurely dying off from loneliness, delay in medical diagnoses, mental health issues caused by isolation, alcoholism and drug overdoses. And possibly the vaccine itself may have had a small negative impact, with a very tiny percentage of the population dropping dead from heart attacks or blood clots)

China has a very high population density, and on top of that their version of the "vaccine" was significantly less effective than the American version. So I would think that any deaths caused by the virus would probably not be that different between the two countries. In other words the virus would probably not be responsible for the change in life expectancy statistics comparing the two countries. Yes, maybe they the death rates both go up a little in both countries, but that does not explain why the rate in the U.S. is increasing while in China it is decreasing.

Bowerbird, I think you are wrong.

Full circle. This is exactly why I entered this thread to contest these two posts below: :below::below:
The theme behind those statements defaultly boasts of the superiority of US honesty in statistics when, in fact, it is not.

What do you mean? Just scroll up and see what it is I am responding to. There are no stats - just right or wrong.

Are you joking? Look up the two words:
    1. Life.
    2. Quality.

You need to keep your finger on the page as you respond to what has been written. Your reading comprehension is lacking.
No, it doesn't. Did you look up those two words?

    1. Life.
    2. Quality.

And how long have you worked in the health care industry? Can you say that someone with terminal Motor Neurone Disease cannot have a decent quality of life?

Don't know if you are joking above, but it's actually a very good point.

Half the people in this thread don't agree with you.

Bowerbird, is it possible that you perception of reality may be off?
From what I understand, any deaths directly from either the virus or vaccines probably would have only had a negligible effect on the overall life expectancy statistics and likely wouldn't show up very clearly.

As for studies showing a correlation between not taking the vaccine and higher death rates, that could in large part be due to alternate third factors that the studies did not make an effort to adjust for. For example perhaps more rural groups, or certain ethnic groups.

You can continue contradicting yourself (as you've just done now) but if you do not begin making sense then I'm going to stop responding to you.

I'm not joking. The Chinese eat all of those things. We baulk and wretch at the thought of it but it most certainly is healthier than the junk food and the chemically-produced non-food that we often eat in the West.

Yep, the Quartz really likes Chinese propaganda.

Here's the actual article you forgot to add according to the rules of the forum.

    https://qz.com/china-life-expectancy-exceeds-us-1849483265

The title of the Quartz article is propaganda. The CDC pdf makes no mention of China or any other country. Everyone knows that the CCP's reported statistics are false.

But if you want to approve of the Chinese regime and their genocidal tyrannical actions . . .

I am asking you to outline what YOU to consider “quality of life” to mean. You are merely evading the question so I framed it in a more specific manner I.e. gave an example

If you don't already know the difference between quality and quantity then I'm not going to bring out the blackboard and pieces of chalk.

"Everyone knows"? That's what you said about WMDs in Irak but 'you forgot to add a link according to the rules of the forum'.

My example was Stephen Hawking. Terminal motor Neurone Disease however can anyone say he did not contribute to the betterment of the science of Cosmology? Would you say he had a good or bad “quality of life”?

How would anybody outside of China have any idea what their life expectancy is? Half of China is still 3rd world. I doubt the Chinese life expectancy is anywhere near 76 years.
