It is. The central figure, which has no parallel in The Last Supper, could not POSSIBLY have been more obviously Dionysus.

Lol…And maga has their orange pervert.
The rightwing Christian fundamentalists sound just like the Taliban when they fulminate about disrespecting Mohammed.
All extremists are cut from the same rancid, intolerant cloth, although the Muslim fundamentalists are more morally honest than the Christians who profess to honor God yet support a degenerate like trump.

I disagree. While the Christian fundamentalists are loud mouthed about this thing, that they found offensive, they haven't blown stuff up over it. They haven't canceled the Olympics over it.
Compare that to Muslim intolerants that would have blown up something as they have done in Olympics past. Don't even get me started on how many things have been canceled because some liberal got their panties in a wad over stupid little things.

I didn't know liberals got their panties in a wad over that. While I do think it was a stupid thing to do, I wouldn't call it a stupid thing to get upset over. There were a lot of weirdness that happened during that election like ignoring/changing certain voting laws due to Covid.

But, I'll give you that one. Do you want to discuss the million other things that libs get offended by?

As long as we can discuss the two million things conservatives get offended by?

    Gay marriage
    Same sex couples adopting
Did you know that the organization in TN contracted with the state to provide training for potential foster parenting rejected a couple for being Jewish?
Books that mention gay people being in school libraries
Allowing non Christians to give invocations at various government functions
Allowing non Christians to have holiday displays on government property
Freaking out over "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas"

    And I'm just getting started.

Rebel Archbishop Slams Olympics As "Vile Attack On God", Says Macron Married A Tranny, Obama "Accompanied By Muscular Man In Wig
    https://www.zerohedge.com/political...tacks-god-says-macron-obama-married-trans-men
    ...
...including Italian Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò - the former papal nuncio to the United States who questioned the legitimacy of Pope Francis and the authority of the Second Vatican Council, and was excommunicated three weeks ago for "his refusal to recognize and submit to the Supreme Pontiff."
    ...
Viganò says it's "no coincidence" that the ceremonies were presided over by French President Emanuel Macron, an 'emissary of the World Economic Forum,' who 'passes off a transvestite as his own wife with impunity, just as Barack Obama is accompanied by a muscular man in a wig.'

Except that it wasn't a depiction of the last supper - it was a depiction of Greek Bacchanal. Because, you know, the Olympics originated in Greece.

Wow, they "COMPLAINED" about something? Shame on them!
What would you call people that go around chopping off heads instead when someone insults their religion?
Would that be your idea of "solidified"?
Being peaceful ain't enough eh? You want them to even never complain and just shut up like good little Christians? I'm happy the olympics thing happened and i'm happy they are pissed off. ITS ABOUT TIME!
Just wait until the most dominant religion in the world gets sick of this crap
Not smart to piss off a majority!

Then why did they apologize for it being a depiction of the last supper?

They didn't apologize for it being Last Supper. They clarified it was not of the Last Supper, but of Dionysus, and they said they were sorry if it offended anyone. I guess they assumed people would be able to figure out what it was about, but I'll bet vast majority of viewers scratched their heads and wondered what they were watching, while some others jumped into concluding it was Last Supper, and the media ran with it and got the target audience all riled up.

Yet the figure you are pointing at is in the actual painting being referenced and is Apollo, not Jesus.

Then it's a non issue since there are no Greek god worshipers any more (or they aren't offended). Maybe they should have gotten a tranny that looks more like Apollo?

There are. And they aren't offended. I'm having a campout with some this weekend. And the outrage from Christians is based on making up bull ****.

Same for devoted Christians. The Christians only stopped doing it a couple of centuries ago, at best (and, even then, try being gay in Christian Uganda).
