How many employers are you aware of who would allow you to disrespect the country on company time for the purpose of protesting peacefully all while bathing said company in a negative light?

Here, I'll post this again, it comes directly from the NFL's code of conduct:

Conduct that undermines or puts at risk the integrity and reputation of the NFL, NFL clubs, or NFL players.

Dolphins fine and suspend DB Don Jones for anti-Michael Sam tweet

Miami Dolphins defensive back Don Jones has been fined an undisclosed amount by the team following an incident on Saturday where he sent out a tweet critical of Michael Sam. Jones has also been banned from team activities until he undergoes sensitivity training.

After St. Louis selected the openly gay Sam with the 249th overall pick in the seventh and final round of the NFL Draft, Sam was caught on camera kissing his boyfriend in celebration. Just after the kiss happened, Jones tweeted 'OMG' and 'Horrible.'

On Sunday night, Jones apologized for sending out the two tweets.

0_0....Awesome. I had been listening to the song "Was ist des deustchen Vaterland"(Lit: What is the German Fatherland), it was made in response to their rebellion against Napoleon and I was always thinking "we should have an American version" and that's LITERALLY what this is.

All we'd have to do really is edit the song IMO to incorporate all 50 States instead of just NY/CA, but yeah I'd love to have that as an anthem.

I doubt any team would keep as a 3rd stringer anyone who makes that much money. If he's not the starter, or close to it, look for him to get cut.

He will be traded...its amazing that what looks like an over-the-hill QB can be traded and then make a come back as shown by past history!

What a joke, what does any of the above have to do with Kapernick? I know the racist will defend cowards to the end.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if he gets traded, doesn't the team that gets him have to honor his current contract? Yes, many QBs have regained life after a trade, but many also falter when playing in a different system with different philosophies and styles. Trading him is no guarantee of success and he still has the baggage of being anti American with a huge salary. My guess is they'll cut him and then anyone can pick him up for the league minimum.

If they cut him they will still be on the hook for his big contract!

If the keep him as every team needs 3 QB's with all the injuries (a couple of yrs ago AZ went thru 5 having a poor Offensive line!), and so can still get some miles out of him.

sports do not run like a real company... if the fans like you and your helping the team win, you can get away with it

I am more concerned with people deflating balls personally, cheating should be punished severely

Heh, your average right winger/Trump supporter are always crying and complaining about how America is "no longer great", especially after 8 years of an EVIL "Anti-white socialist" as president, and yet I don't see them taking their pathetic butts back to wherever the hell their ancestors came from. So they are in no position critcize anyone on this matter.

Yes that is the main reason the trade with the Broncos didn't happen. They would have had to pay his salary, and they wanted him to sign a new deal if they did trade for him. He said he would not do that so they passed on him.

He may have been waiting for the Hymn of the Russian Federation. The guy makes millions of dollars playing a brainless childs game and some how he despises the only country in the world where he has that opportunity.

Consider the fairy tale about Moses. He never knew his father. His mother tossed him into the Nile to be a croc's lunch. He was raised as a member of the Egyptian ruling family. Was he oppressed by them? He get's a bug, causes all kinds of disasters, kidnaps all of the Israelites and steals everything that they could carry. And people love Moses.

Kap just said that black people in America are oppressed and people go ballistic. He's being oppressed for daring to speak out about what he sees as oppression from a tyrannical State. It appears that a lot of Americans like to deny that they are tyrants. If they weren't then there would never be a need to say that they are tyrants.

This on the other hand is only half true. Contracts in the NFL are not guaranteed outside of the up front signing bonus, but teams do incur a cap penalty if they cut players early.

Third he should have focused his hate on Wilson, LBG and the DP strategists that actually launched the very effective racist assault on black American communities, culture and families.

America is already great. We don't need an inexperienced reality TV Star like Trump screwing things up.

Us right wingers might not like what liberals have done to the country, be we still respect it, we still fight for it, and we're not trying to dilute it.
