The DOJ has already OFFICIALLY stated that Biden does not have the mental capacity to stand trial for the multiple violations of the Espionage Act, felonies, which he committed and we have the prima facie evidence to prove it. Trump's accountants entered bills for legal services as payments for legal services and can stand there and talk off his head about multitudes of issues with little if any stumbling.

    Which should be more concerning?

I have and it is full of evidence, prima facie evidence, to not just indict but convict. Hur was EXPLICT Biden is too mentally incompetent to stand trial.

He certainly was explicit, but IMO, Democrats should be suspicious of any prosecutor acting to influence an election. The rampant corruption of prosecutors and judges in the US is now well documented.

No one should ever presume that "officers of the court" are acting in good faith.

I don't know that Hur wasn't here...Biden's mind us rapdily deteriorating before our eyes. If the audio if his FBI interview showed different it would have been released long ago.

The first debate is critical for both candidates. 1 week away.

I have suggested they each take a cognitive test the morning of and have the results announced at the debate.

First, it still does not say that he would be incompetent to stand a trial. It was written as an intended slight on our President, for which Representatives and Senators raked that man over the coals, and rightfully so. He speculates that a jury would be not inclined to find Biden guilty because of a merely perceived lack of "mental state of willfullness", which is not even a real term, nor is it defined. What bunk.

Second, people who are considered by non-professionals to be incompetent to stand trial are indicted literally all the time. That's why independent experts are called to test a defendant in order to see if he or she really is competent to stand trial.

I understand very clearly that you hate Joe Biden, but this nonsense only makes your behavior more hackish than usual and serves no real purpose.

Had the independent council found real evidence against Joe Biden, he would have indicted and then if doubts about Joe Biden's ability to stand trial were in doubt, an independent professional would have been called in to evaluate. So, once again, your logic is fallacious and lacks real fundamentals.

it will indeed be a critical event, not for the two respective bases, which are pretty much baked in, but rather, for the ever shrinking mushy middle.

The jury convicted him, not the media. The prosecution took down every point the Defense made in their opening statement. From Pecker, the former CEO of a tabloid newspaper, to Daniels to some of his former employees at the company and to Cohen. Trump's defense only called two witnesses with one being barred. A third witness, former CFO Weisselberg, but wasn't. And that's on the defense.

While factual, this isn't the whole truth. In order for any jury to be fair and impartial, the defendant must be previously unknown to them. Mr. Trump is, arguably, the most famous (or perhaps infamous) person on the planet because of the media coverage and political attacks on him over the years. And, so, a truly impartial jury of anyone who consumes media cannot possibly be assembled.

Yes, and a large number of the people that know about Trump are rabid fans (aka The MAGA Faithful). All it would have taken is ONE MAGA person on the jury willing to acquit. Odds are there was a MAGA person on the jury and yet, despite that, we got 34 UNANIMOUS guilty verdicts.
To claim that Trump's fame somehow made the jury unanimously vote guilty doesn't pass the smell test.

I wasn't going to vote this year because I needed 4 criteria to be met:
    1 white
    2 straight
    3 75+ years old
    4 convicted felon

Due to #4 not being fulfilled I was gonna skip voting but now I have purpose. Thank you FAT ALVIN!!!! (Trump secretly thanks you as well)
    Cheers!
    NOVEMBER IS COMING!!!!!!!!

Trump will not be a convicted felon after the appellate courts uncover what a scam this trial was with a corrupt judge, biased jury, and corrupt prosecutors...
