Flu is back in the headlines, COVID must be finished

 

Just got Covid for 3rd time. Was no more than a common 2 day cold all 3 times and I am unvaxxed. That new China virus running rampant over there will come over here eventually.

 

Seems there is a "white lung" type of covid infection.

 

I don't know what a white lung is byt my best friend has had Covid for a few days now. His wife caught it a couple of days after he did and they have just about gotten over it.

The concern with Covid is the possibility of long term lung issues.

Yet I've lost two neighbors and a childhood friend to the disease. It's almost like people capable of rational thought should look beyond anecdotes. Hm.

 

I lost no one and on your losses they could have all had major health issues before covid and if they got the
C virus it pushed them over, that has been a huge factor in the deaths we're told took place.

From day 1 people NEEDED to be told "get their immune systems healthy" and that never happened

So, as predicted, you figured out that anecdotes are bad evidence, then you realize that admitting this harmed your conspiracy theories, and then you changed your mind.

 

The data clearly shows who was at the most risk - elderly people and all people with the CDC defined preconditions. There was no need to shut down the economy. There was a need to protect those most at risk and that didn't happen. Curiously only recently have there been ads on TV acknowledging the risks associated with the preconditions. Where were these ads in the midst of the so called pandemic.

Yes, the elderly and others who have compromised immunity systems are at the most risk.

The "keep it open" was Trump's direction on meat processing.

He ordered meat processing to stay open.

The result was that those corporations ended up being centers of COVID communication, with workplace closures and the spread of disease through those cities.

COVID is spread by people being in close proximity. The efforts by the conspiracy theorists to maintain close contact through work places, places of worship, through party behavior has ALWAYS been known to be seriously wrong headed.

 

Oh a 50+ yr resident of CA and loving my life here, the CA politics are crazy1/2 1/2 crazy crazy insane. CA, NY, IL, OR, WA all deep blue NUTS states.... 1/2 million have moved out and how many more will go. I'm too old to go anywhere else....

We'll never know how it all would have gone had Trump gotten his 2nd term, probably all the covid jabs...but all the lcokdowns?????

 

Covid poses no risk to people who are in good health with none of the preconditions. That’s a fact. People at risk cannot be protected by forcing people at no risk to stay home.

 

COVID is spread by proximity to others who may not even known they are ill. That is true for other viruses, too. That part of the problem is NOT new.

Restricting contact is one of the ways of protecting against a national COVID rate that our hospitals and morgues are not set up to handle. Plus, schools and businesses need employs, and COVID will stop that activity by its infection rate.

Plus, the jab makes it harder to contract the disease and has proven to greatly reduce the symptoms (such as death rate).
