Many members in this forum seem to believe that routine removal of the foreskin on infants is justified on medical grounds. But when pressed for evidence, it becomes clear they are just grasping for justification.
Well that is an issue that has evidence both for and against it. I am circumcised and as far as from a sexual aspect I am glad I am as my grandfathers and my Father were all men with well oversized penises. Thus I inherited their Genetic Traits and I personally know if I was not and as I am an extremely active individual for me to not be circumcised would cause a natural build up of DEAD SMEGMA CELLS!! As far as actual Medical Benefits of Circumcision...... #1. Circumcision prevents phimosis (the inability to retract the foreskin at an age when it should normally be retractable), paraphimosis (the painful inability to return the foreskin to its original location), and balanoposthitis (inflammation of the glans and foreskin). #2. Circumcision results in a decreased incidence of urinary tract infections. #3. Circumcision results in a lower incidence of sexually transmitted diseases and may reduce HIV transmission. #4. Circumcision of men with large or long penises lowers the risk for cancer of the cervix in sexual partners. #5. Circumcision decreases the risk for cancer of the penis in groups of men who have above average penis size. Now although the above 5 FACTS are undeniable there is debate as far as WHEN a Circumcisions should be done but I am telling you all right now.....I AM CERTAINLY HAPPY I WAS CIRCUMSISED SOON AFTER I WA BORN RATHER THAN YEARS LATER!!! In 1975, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) stated in no uncertain terms that "there is no absolute medical indication for routine circumcision of the newborn." Plus there is the issue of NERVE GROWTH AND SENSITIVITY as a guy who has not been circumcised shortly after birth will be apt to develop and grow highy sensitive NERVE CLUSTERS in that area of the Penis that are left protected by an UNCIRCUMCISED FORESKIN!!! Once that part of the foreskin is removed via Circumcision.....the area surface of his penis onced covered by foreskin and no longer covered after circumcision.....exposes this nerve density that exists much higher than if he had been circumcised after birth! The result can range from painful intercourse or Anal Sex or Oral Sex all the way to painful Masterbation. Now I certainly would NOT want to have to undergo Circumcision when I was 12 or 13 years old!!! Very true, we simply do not know for certain. For myself, I am only partial to it because I would like for the universe to have meaning, not just one that is full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
