Another day, another attempt by liberal hate-baiters to get Rush off the air.

And these are the same folks who boast they're the "tolerant", "compassionate" crowd. BS. Nothing could be farther from the truth. These people are vindictive, angry liars who literally hate anyone who doesn't march to their doctrine. And this latest attack on Rush only shows how little regard they have for civility, honesty or free speech. Sure, it's despicable, but that's the nature of liberalism these days; you either conform to their thinking (I use that very loosely in this case), shut up, or be punished via any means they have at their disposal. It's a cowardly way to conduct a political party and only demonstrates how insecure they really are. And they are, above all, very insecure.

 

No force of law behind the petition? Not a free speech issue.

If running ones mouth was the only thing it takes to build an enterprise like Rush, every liberal in the country would have an radio empire.

 

I agree; after all what is he but an irritating and frequently obnoxious shock-jock? He isn't a politician, he's an entertainer who has no influence over anyone who matters, and I really don't understand why certain groups appear to take his pronouncements as gospel and the last word on conservative hot topics. He certainly knows which buttons his core audience will react to having pushed.

 

What else has he ever done? Feel free to wow me with his accomplishments.

 

No, I didn't make a mistake and you know it. How liberals define free speech goes something like this; If you're a liberal you can say pretty much whatever you want as long it's purpose is support the liberal cause or demean an perceived enemy of the cause, but if you're an enemy of their cause they'll use whatever means at their disposal to make sure you're publically ridiculed, humiliated, scorned or worse into silence....then they'll turn around & say ...."hey, we believe totally in free speech!"
And please don't pretend this is not exactly how it works. I mean, Obama;'s leading the "reward our friends, punish our enemies" crowd and he's damn proud to do it.

If your goal was to become a very successful radio personality and author, I'm not sure how much bigger you can get, besides Howard Stern who's the real king. In this day and age of having 1 mil and 1 choices, the guy is still going strong. Quite an accomplishment. Hate him or not, the guy is VERY successful, where so many others have failed....with no help.

 

That would be a tactic for the tightie righties.
