Pornography does belong in any place where it is accessible by underaged individuals. If someone or some organization places such “filth” as you aptly labeled it that entity needs to be punished under legal means. Under our laws we need to proof of who placed such filth in places where it does not legally belong. I say legally since there not only should but there must be a law that makes it illegal to make pornography available to underaged individuals. If we can meet those minimum requirement we can then flush that “HUMAN WASTE” down the toilet.
To just say that it was “Democrats, or MAGA Publicans, or Republicans or Conservatives or Liberals or BLM “ is not enough and nothing more that an unsubstantiated accusation.

I think it's funny that we still have libraries.

Fiction is always problematic in a school because young children sometimes have difficulty distinguishing between fiction and reality.

I think the weak sauce is the shocking slide which says

    "Masturbation is meditation"

Is Ron Desantis an Imperial Roman Church Papist? Morman?

Most of society has no problems with masturbation. Some of the other stuff falls under sex education. And if parents want to ban sex education, that's fine by me. However, I do actually suggest then that they teach it themselves. And jumping up and down on a table screaming "Don't do it!" is not sex education.

The fictional story Flamer is definitely more risqué than Catcher in the Rye and I'm sure they chose it because it has pictures. Personally, I would leave what's in the library in local control by the school board elected by the people. Desantis wants to remove local control and give more control to the state. While I disagree with this, many people are too lazy to participate in their local government and want to choose one overlord to make their lives just a tiny bit easier.

Back to Flamer - a story about a kid learning about his sexuality from everyone but his parents - sound familiar? I would leave it to the local community to include or not include the book.

You will notice left wing media outlets cut the broadcast because they knew their lies were being exposed.

It doesn't exist. The ban is on pornographic materials for children K-3rd grade. Ages 5 through 9. Democrats seem very upset they cannot show porn to little kids.

I like and agree with you that we should leave it to the decision of what books should be allowed in local school libraries to the local community. Local community control is the principal that Republicans are supposed to be all about. Having the state controlling what is done in local schools and libraries is in violation of the principal of no big government. . De Santis is in my opinion violating that classic good Republican foundation of no big government.
I of course am as I noted in prior post am extremely opposed to having schools provide access to pornography. I have ot seen or read any of the stuff that De Santis ( or his special ops pornography police ) is banning therefore I am taking it on the word of the De Santis spokesmen ( ok spokespeoplepersonshumanoids) are saying what is pornography. I did hear that the practice of having transvestites “read” to young kids in school is supposed to be one of the pornographic things banned. I am not of the mind that letting transvestites read to kids is actually pornographic but I am very opposed to that practice since I consider it ( reading to kids by transvestites) to be sick, wrong, stupid and very likely harmful. Our local town library was going to have transvestites read to young children. We the community got it cancelled and we got the library director to resign not just for her stupid attempt to bring in transvestites but that was the frosting on the by by cake.

I found that Catcher in the Rye was published in July of 1951. Hmmm what was considered pornographic in 1951 was not by the early 1960’s and really not by the 1970’s.

Back to big government - I am opposed to having government involved in pushing religion at any level.

We should ban the Old Testament of the Bible for fostering pornography and swinging. Abraham’s wife was delinquent in providing poor old Abe a son so she had her servant girl “lay” with Abe or be layed by Abe and a miracle happened. Hell people were laying and men were knowing all sorts of women not their wives. Then how about Saddom and Gomorrah man they Saddomized each other and did all sorts of pornographic crap until God got good and pissed and then dropped a. Neutron bomb of those suckers.
The New Testament people were fairly well behaved except for a Cruxifixction now and then. it let us local yokels decide not DeSantis and not DC.

Before some self styled religious zealot gets her, his, it’s panties in a knot yes I am joking about banning the Bible. The Koran ? Let me think about it. Mo did like doing it to 12 or 13 year olds, so let’s all think about it. LOL

Do you have a list of which Democrats are upset? Is Chucky Cheeze Schummer one of them? Pelosi ? Of course she is probably too busy drinking blood of dead children the Democrats killed in the DC Pizza Palaces to be upset. There needs to be a campaign to contact all the Democrats and tell them to knock off this pornography schiest!

Then don't focus on the "weak sauce."

It sounds like you watched the press conference video. So which title are you talking about which is just plain old innocent sex education?

    No matter what they do?

Why do you think that DeSantis has taken over operational control over all aspects of local government, just because of this book ban?

"Sound familiar?" What are you referring to?

    Making you pro-pornography in schools.

Democrats are upset they can't sexualize and show pornography to five year olds. So typical.

Luckily, 80% of Floridians support not showing pornography to small children. I would like to point out many of the leftists who have been activists for the pro-pornography side have been arrested for having illegal child porn in recent years. Why are Democrats enabling pedophiles instead of protecting children?

We tried using filters to keep students from accessing anything but the approved educational sites. We had parents who complained that we had no right to block sites, and we had parents (most) who refused to believe their kids were watching porn. The students quickly figured out how to get around the filters, and the administration could only shrug it's shoulders. The point is that the "burden" is a huge one for anyone willing to try and do something.

It says something of the people who sat down and spent time gathering what they considered to be the most shocking slides that they included that one. They focused on it so I focused on it. Unless, you're claiming that the slides showed everything which they considered offensive.
So, since you likely don't consider any sex education to be innocent, the question you have asked is moot.
    No
He hasn't. There are many local governments and government agencies.
I'll let you figure that one out.
Letting local communities decide what is in the school's library = pro-pornography in schools. I don't agree with that, but you're welcome to your opinion.

Seems to get support from Republicans as well - Tim Nolan, or example.

You're conflating the issues of child porn and what books are allowed in school - all while making vague aspersions.

I don't think anyone wants to consciously expose children under the age of ten to pornography. The argument is over what pornography is. The only reason why you see 80% as oppose to 99% is because 19% is smart enough to realize that many have a pretty loose definition of pornography.

    "Masturbation is meditation."

Ron Desantis considers the above to be hardcore porn and would be willing to send someone to jail for five years if they exposed his child to those words. It does happen in other societies.

    https://nypost.com/2014/12/11/afghan-woman-shocks-onlookers-by-baring-her-legs/

The question is about what is appropriate and what is not.

Obviously they do want to expose grade school children to pornography, that's why they put pornographic books in grade school libraries and are lying about "book bans".

What was a pure stroke of genius on DeSantis' part was to go on the air and give examples of what was in local grade school libraries.

The content was so graphic, that they couldn't show it on TV....TO ADULTS.

The MSM couldn't repeat it...TO ADULTS.
