    Put it this way, if a bank loans you money can the bank then buy something with the money it loaned you?

    So two viable options:

    1. Make the payments out of the trust.
    2. Pass Republican bills to exempt Social Security and allow borrowing for this or prioritize those payments, as has been done in the past.

    However, Democrats have said they would rather not pay Social Security recipients. Hopefully Biden's aides make progress on the negotiations while he takes the weekend off to recharge from his dementia.
