The article describes the correlation of whale deaths with wind turbine construction? That is evidence. This highlights an issue which deserves further investigation.

What are the alternative explanations for this?

    What you believe is irrelevant.

An article in the tabloid Daily Mail is not 'evidence'. It simply fits your pro-fossil fuel agenda.

Add a bit of selective attention and confirmation bias and voila!

The scrutiny would be the actual killer in his story. Lol.

It is advisable to avoid peer review when you're in the business of propaganda and AstroTurf cultivation.

A great example ^^^ of lack of understanding of the scientific method.

Scrutiny is an integral part of the scientific method.

    Peer review is meaningless.

I don't think I'm the one demonstrating confirmation bias, and I'm certainly not the one who fears a free press.

Yes. In my opinion a truly free press and a rigorous application of the scientific method are necessary for the optimization of human progress. Unfortunately that is not the case as these threads show.
