Oh.... I thought you meant "deductions" as in "deductive reasoning". Everybody who files a Tax return uses deductions. I'm assuming you mean itemized deductions.

Trump's deductions are not the issue. What he uses is a legal team in constant litigation. Renegotiating taxes is meant for people who made a mistake on their returns, or failed to file and want to return to a legal standing, or are just down on their luck, but owed taxes from previous years... Trump abuses this system for profit. So YOU end up paying, not only for his taxes, but for the legal expenses incurred by the IRS. How anybody can put a thief like that in the White House is completely beyond my comprehension.

Donald “The Loser” Trump represents the fundamental dishonestly of American Business.

And what fundamental dishonesty exists in business. Businesses have to compete with one another. Fundamental dishonesty is not a competitive approach. If you want to find fundamental dishonesty, look at government which has no competition.

Isn't it up to the IRS....the dishonest authors of our deceitful tax code to determine? No one in this forum has the information or knowledge to call Trump dishonest due to his complex tax forms. I don't blame him for keeping it secret from a bunch of know it all Monday morning quarterbacks.

You don't understand the 1st part of my post so that explains everything. You are mind numb to the swamp who made our tax system so complex to deceive and divide.
You also don't understand how contributing to our nation exceeds the area of PERSONAL INCOME TAX. Providing jobe, paying millions in interest on borrowed money, paying for permits, other taxes, etc. Contributes greatly to our economy. The bright lightbulbs in government know this and apply it in their attempt at social engineering.

You tell me how the homeless contribute to our economy. I know, someone has to pick up their excrement from the sidewalks of San Francisco and LA, it is a job. Every citizen should, out of an honor bound duty, fill out a tax form with the IRS just as it is an honor bound duty to vote. In fact, I propose that the tax form is a prerequisite to voting. If you don't like the rules in place. Change them. You can give as much to government, your favorite charity, as you'd like Golem.

Remember when candidates said that a tax form should be so simple as to be filled out on a post card? I was and am all for that.Sure, that might require Donald Trump to fill out a dozen post cards.....but it could be understood by all, no lawyers, and no deception. Don't blame Trump for the rules, and if you want to equal his success you need to take advantage of every loophole crooked politicians give us.

How do you feel about the small businessmen and women persecuted by the legal team of the IRS?? Any sympathy for them?

My post was not about taxes. It was about describing business as fundamentally dishonest. The huge majority of businesses are honest and I have no reason to think the Trump organization isn't one of them.

Sure... But even that doesn't remove the fact that Trump is a criminal. It just reveals how you don't like the fact that, yet again, it has been proven.

Absolutely! How is it possible that people who owe ... peanuts... to the IRS are persecuted and sometimes go to prison, while a criminal like Trump is out there freeloading?

Golem, how much extra do you send in over the mandatory tax payment?

    I know the answer. Zero.

The rules are the rules. If you dont like it, then modify the tax code.

No, but it does prove he's a billionaire whether you like it or not. That is what you asked me to prove, you don't like it because you were beat.

Feel better now...? Maybe you prefer the Leftist mantra of, "What's mine is mine, and what's YOURS is mine."

Socialists are most often a bunch of malcontent deadbeats who never really accomplish anything of worth, for themselves or for anyone else. They're often challenged even to support themselves, and they're always crowding the 'welfare smorgasbord' to get others to give them what they need in life.

They love the idea of 'sharing the wealth' -- because so often they contribute little or NOTHING, but expect to lay their hands on what other people have created and worked for all their lives. You want it plain? SOCIALISTS ARE NATURAL-BORN PARASITES!

So you expect Trump to pay taxes that he doesn't owe out of subjective "fairness" as established by you, but you don't pay any more than your liability established by the tax code?

NO! What the hell gave you that idea? I expect him to pay the taxes he does owe.
