RT disappearing from cable networking systems as well as satellite
    is political.
    It is censorship.

RT did not lack for funds to buy their slot on cable TV.

Eventually it will be, they haven't stopped sending them
Excuse me, but Russia had nothing to do with Berlin and Cuba. It was the Soviet Union and it was not a nation. It was an international political system.

Anyway it took me years to realize that the US and the West in general project their own characteristics into others. As an example, during the Cuban missile crises, we were made to believe that Kennedy stood up to Khruschev and that's why the Soviet ship turned around. But it's not so.

The reason Khruschev was putting missiles in Cuba, was because we had just put our own missiles in Turkey. When Kennedy told Khruschev that he would remove them, the Soviet ship turned around.

It must be nice to live in a fantasy world. Where great Russian victories dance in your dreams. With such great technology you would think they could make their one aircraft carrier work. In truth, Trump doesn't even need a pea shooter to do Russia in. He just needs to follow Reagan's blueprint and destroy them economically. He is taking their market away in places like Germany and forcing oil prices down in other areas. By forcing NATO members to boost their military, he is forcing Russia to spend money they don't have to keep pace. Next he will throw missiles in Turkey and Poland. Causing the more spending of money that isn't there. How long will the Russian people put up with living like dogs? Putin's days are numbered.

Maybe they were hoping that Russia would collapse with the sanctions or whatever else Washington could throw on them.

It doesn't look like they want free land in Siberia, and prefer to pay for land in areas with a better climate. Do you blame them?

Uhhh, maybe you better start reading up on things, and pull your nose out of the MSM. The sanctions only hurt the EU and did nothing to Russia, which makes me wonder what Washington's real intent was. Was it to hurt Russia or the EU?

Just to let you know, when nations want to build up their economy they drop the value of their currency. Russia didn't have to do that though. When the oil prices dropped, the value of their currency dropped with it, and since Russia is virtually debt free thanks to Putin, they were able to pay their loans and ride through the sanctions.

Putin decided to use the opportunity of sanctions to stop all imports from the EU. By eliminating the competition he was able to build up Russia's agriculture and industries so they are virtually self sufficient. Today they have beaten out the US and Canada in wheat exports, and are feeding half the world.

As for Russia's military, it's the second most powerful in the world and it costs them nothing since they have their own resources and parts. In the meantime the US is paying billions for junk to keep its industrial complex going, and it keeps getting deeper and deeper into debt. You better start waking up to reality before its too late.

Anyway NASA still needs to buy Russian rocket engines to get into space, and Russia is complying, but who knows what they're charging. Four were delivered to the US in April, and four are now being delivered. Three more will come in November, and 20 are on order.

Your claim that Russia does not devalue their currency is laughable. They did it in 2016 and again this year. Beyond that it has been weaker than a spaghetti strand for years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_financial_crisis_(2014–2017)
If their military costs them nothing, why do they budget 84 billion for it? We saw the quality of your rockets in the last space launch.
If you have so much agricultural exports, why aren't you listed in the top 20. You would think that someone feeding "half the world" would be in the top 20. Take out what they are stealing from the Ukraine they really drop. Russia should really put some of that wheat on the shelves in Russia. Some say the Russian people like to eat too.

You have a real reading comprehension problem. I said that nations devalue their currency when they want to build up their economy, and Russia didn't have to, it was devalued when Washington forced the price of oil to drop. Since Russia is virtually debt free, and its an export and not an import economy it was able to ride the sanctions.

As for food, Russia was importing most of its food from the EU, but they stopped that with the sanctions and the EU lost billions. With the competition from the EU being eliminated, Russia was able to build up their food industries and are now almost totally self sufficient. They still have to import some milk products and meat, but they're catching up.

The sanctions were really a blessing in disguise. Right now they have beaten out the US and Canada in grain shipments, and are feeding half the world. That of course would change if the value of the Ruble went up, so they are not letting it go up. Trump in the mean time has to pressure nations to buy American goods even though they cost more.

We are in trouble you know.

First you can give up the facade, everyone on this board knows you are a Russian shrill.
Repeating a lie doesn't make it true. Russia is not the largest exporter and how do you feed half the world on $5,8 billion worth of wheat?

Below are the 15 countries that exported the highest dollar value worth of wheat during 2017:

    1. United States: US$6.1 billion (15.7% of total wheat exports)
    2. Russia: $5.8 billion (14.8%)
    3. Canada: $5.1 billion (13%)
    4. Australia: $4.7 billion (11.9%)
    5. France: $3 billion (7.7%)
    6. Ukraine: $2.8 billion (7.1%)
    7. Argentina: $2.4 billion (6.1%)
    8. Germany: $1.6 billion (4.1%)
    9. Romania: $1.1 billion (2.9%)
    10. Bulgaria: $772.7 million (2%)
    11. Kazakhstan: $660.8 million (1.7%)
    12. Lithuania: $604.4 million (1.5%)
    13. Hungary: $591.9 million (1.5%)
    14. Poland: $538.9 million (1.4%)
    15. Czech Republic: $479.9 million (1.2%)

    Bloomberg -

"...It’s been a long time since any country shipped out as much wheat as Russia.

As estimates for the Black Sea nation’s harvest keep growing, so does the outlook for exports. The world’s top exporter is now expected to sell 36.6 million metric tons overseas, according to consultants
SovEcon and the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies, or IKAR. The U.S. was the last nation to ship out more, a quarter century ago..."

Now let me wake you to reality. Google like the MSM works for Washington and is considered the largest propaganda mechanism in the country. They know that most people look only look at the first sites, so they place whatever make-shift references the government wants higher up, and what the government doesn't want further down or on another page. It's a means of brain washing.

You must have forgot to read this part from your own article.
"However, the amount is still way below the 48.2 million tons that U.S. exports peaked at in the early 1980s. American shipments remained high for much of that decade, partly as the former Soviet Union relied on overseas purchases."
One good year of crop harvest does not make Russia a food Barron. But stealing grain from the Ukraine does help their numbers.

Don't tell me Russia is stealing from Monsanto? How low can they get?

Hey brilliant one, for your information 80% of Ukraine's black earth has been bought up by the multi national Agri corporations. Why do you think Poroshenko gave the draftees only two weeks training before sending them off for cannon fodder? If something happened to them and they couldn't till the land, their families would have to sell the land at a low price. Then Poroshenko and the rest of his ilk could buy it, and resell it to Monsanto and make a killing.

Anyway Ukraine's not the only one with the rich black earth, it runs through Russia too. Moscow has now developed its grain to survive the cold. Vladimir Putin said he will not allow GMO's and assured that the Russian food will be the healthiest on the planet.
