‘Ridiculously Uneducated’: Man Blasted for Saying He Is ‘Leaving the U.S.’ for Hawaii After Trump’s Election Win

“Okay, so since Trump won the election we’re cooked, yup!” he told viewers. “I’m gonna be leaving the U.S. and I’m gonna be moving to Hawaii. So, we’ll see how it goes and I’ll update you guys,” he added:

What do you guys think? Is the "country" of Hawaii a good place to go to escape dictator Trump?

Honestly, I’m a bit worried about “some” folks, thankfully we have a newly elected president.

It is both amusing and painful to watch people grab a twit that is random except for being on the "other side", and proceed to hold the twit up as completely representative of millions of those "other" people.

The projection is strong with these folks.

One data point does not a 'fact' make!

(Or to clarify). Do I really have to point to all the maifesltly insane claims made by deluded Republican supporters about what was or is going to 'happen' after this election. Lets all just take a deep swallow of 'calm the f&%k down and actually see what happens post Trump's election before rushing to the lifeboats.

My opinion is slightly different. I think that people are thinking with the emotional side of their brains so much that they cannot even understand that they don' t yet have enough information to make a prediction of what is coming. What they need to do is wait for more data, and remain calm so they can make a prediction when the data comes in.

But going for the lifeboats after the ship has sunk will have bad results for most people.

The thing to do now is to probably to do some research and make some back-up plans about leaving. Also its vital to come up with positive reasons to go elsewhere rather than have only negative reasons to leave.

As a refugee from the U.S. madhouse myself, I never regretted leaving. There are lots of great reasons to be elsewhere right now, no waiting required to see that.

I'm still waiting for the hordes of Hollywood types who said they were leaving the first time he was elected.

That's great advice, but unfortunately, in the aftermath of the Harris/Biden economic apocalypse, the only people that can actually pick up and go anywhere they want are the same virtue signaling snob celebrities that tried to tell people to vote for Harris. (and the only single one that made good on that promise so far was Richard Gere).

For the record, Gere move to Spain in 2022, where his wife is from and her family lives. He felt it only fair after living away from her family for many years.
