Even as vaccine numbers rise, Democrats double down on masks

What the plan sounds like is a permanent level of control over people's lives. The only good news is that Oregonians are rebelling, with the state's OSHA having received calls in record numbers along with a petition that 60,000 people signed.

Meanwhile, in D.C., old Joe is still wearing double-masks. If the vaccine works (and, as noted, I think it does), Joe should be walking around a mask-free man. The key word in the preceding sentence is "free." Freedom is the one thing that leftists never want to see again in America, and the masks are the best possible way to rub our noses in our new state of subordination.

Masks are now a symbol of our submission to the state. It’s time to cast them off. This is simply a symbol of blue state authority over its subjects. No way should vaccinated people wear masks.

 

As red states reopen 100% and end all mask mandates, several blue states are doubling down on demanding mask subservience even for those who have been vaccinated. Nothing looks more stupid than our idiot for a President standing outdoors nowhere near anyone else or just with Jill, double masked after having bern vaccinated last December.

It wasn't just the "mask mandate" (which is ineffective anyway, according to several studies now) - it was the fact that strip clubs were deemed "essential services" while church services were banned.

Bill Maher touched on this and how media misinformation is affecting voters perceptions of covid. He makes some good points regarding liberals perception and hypocracy.

Not a democrat myself but respect Maher for his honesty, at least on this issue. If you haven't seen it, it may be worth a quick watch.

If you guys could have just kept your panties from getting bunched up and had patience for a couple of months, we could have gotten the majority of Americans inoculated and vastly reduced transmission. But since you’all got the self control of a three year old, we’ve got another spike in the infection rate.

The vaccine took more than "a couple of months" to develop. So your post makes no sense. The vaccines are being rolled out as fast as they can be. And Democrats then said the vaccines were being rushed out.

Masks don’t work? Trump catches Covid and has to go to the hospital. Most of his staff catches it. Biden doesn’t catch it, nor does most of his staff. The difference? Masks.

Moronic reply on your part. You make the perfect the enemy of the good. If a mask reduces the spray radius of droplets carrying the virus by 80%, then that is good. If two masks reduce it by 98%, that’s better. You’re mad cause the studies show a mask isn’t perfect. That’s silly crap.

Biden has not in any way exceeded Trump administration projections as to where vaccine distribution would be by this point in time.
