But a Russian fighter Su-35 attacked the Raptor and had winned it. This shows what a Raptor is. Something very expensive but useless when Russia start fights.

I doubt "winned it" means the Russian jet shot down the Raptor (that would be in the news).

Lady, I adore you! Any links? Are you kidding? The briefing of the Russian General staff is OK for you? Oh... You can't read Russian... Do you really believe any American Newspaper would describe that shame?
I can only translate the Russian report about this events.

December 13, a pair of su-25 at an altitude of 3300 meters accompanied a humanitarian convoy to the town of al-Mayadin (West Bank of the Euphrates river). At that time from the East Bank of the Euphrates to the Russian planes American fighter F-22 was approaching. He began to shoot flares, causing hindrances for the pair of su-25. The situation was resolved after the area of the incident came up the Russian fighter su-35S. He came in the rear hemisphere of the Raptor. And the Raptor left Russian responsibility zone.

Do you know what is "come in the rear hemisphere" for any fighter? The death.

After it during a training fight a referee says: guy, you are dead. Of course American press never writes about it. Why don't you watch RT? You would understand what the freedom of speech is.

If the Russian jet shot down the Raptor then I'd write it. But Russian jet showed that Raptor is at gunpoint. As I wrote before in a real fight it's a death for any plane. The such aircraft as Raptor cannot let to do it for fighter G4 otherwise Raptor is not G5.

There is also official American information. Although, of course, there is a different tone of statements:

THE PENTAGON -- American warplanes intercepted Russian fighter jets that flew into coalition airspace in Syria on Wednesday, a Pentagon spokesman said. Two F-22A Raptors came into contact with two Russian Su-25s as they crossed into coordinated coalition airspace on the east side of the Euphrates River, which is located near Abu Kamal in Syria.

According to the Pentagon spokesman, the F-22 pilots attempted to "persuade" the Russian pilots to depart from the airspace by releasing flares and making multiple calls on an emergency channel established to avoid conflict between U.S. and Russian forces.

One of the Russian jets flew close enough to an F-22 that the American jet had to aggressively turn to avoid colliding in midair. An Su-35 also flew across the river, and it was closely shadowed by one of the American jets.

During the encounter, coalition leaders contacted the Russians to try to ease the situation.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Defense Secretary Jim Mattis is warning against dangerous flights by Russian fighter jets over what is considered a safe zone in Syria, questioning whether recent close calls were mistakes or deliberate.

Mattis told Pentagon reporters Friday that the U.S. and Russia are still using a phone line to coordinate flight movements over crowded Syrian skies as the U.S.-led coalition goes after remaining Islamic State group militants.

Two Russian Su-25 fighters flew through an unofficial line separating Russian and American air forces in eastern Syria on Wednesday coming dangerously close to U.S. aircraft.

U.S. Air Force F-22 fighter jets launched warning flares in response.

Mattis says he doesn’t expect perfection in flights but also doesn’t want dangerous maneuvers. He says it’s not clear if it was deliberate or just sloppy flying.

What is the coalition airspace in Syria? Did the Pentagon spokesman described who invited this coalition in Syria? What do these Raptors in Syria?

We have no business flying over Syria without Syrian government permission.

I take the decline in the US military readiness under clinton, bush and obama seriously

We are not ready to fight all the bad guys in the world at the same time by ourselves and need some time to rearm

That is too loud words. A couple of fighters were guarding the land caravan in Syria. But they approached either positions of americans or their allies and F-22 engaged the fighters. This made the Russian interceptor to come from the back. It's not the win or lose situation. Yes the Russian plane was in a better position and F-22 left showing however that he is not far away (which I guess was exactly his mission). This was not an attack or war. So we can't say that someone won. Russian warplanes didn't attack any of American sensitive spots in Syria and F-22 didn't break the task for Russian planes. Any incident in Syria has a lot of risks involved. When Turkey attacked and downed our fighter we had to start interceptors on mission to guard the fighters. That decreased the amount of Turkish F-16 in Syria. We finally managed to make a deal with Erdogan but it doesn't mean that it would happen again.

F-22 has its problems but I wouldn't guess who wins in an actual war. If F-22 engages SU-35 it means war for it surely will be the fight between USA and Russia. And we mostly will use nuclear weapons to find out which semisphere of the planet loses more from our conflict.
