It's time for a special prosecutor if this jackball isn't truthful and forthcoming in front of the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees. If he even once invokes the fifth, there should be the immediate appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate the Clinton eMail scandal and how it got botched so badly by agents of the FBI. Who did what and when did they do it.

The investigation into Clinton's activities wasn't botched, it went exactly according to plan.....except for the part about her losing the election and all of this coming to light.

Any US Attorney can seat a Grand Jury and do that. How come every time we just need a US Attorney, we have a cohort that screams for a SC? Do you want to disband our US attorneys and just us SC's? Why?

Many laymen, like myself, don't understand completely the differences between Special Counsels, Grand Juries, etc. and how they're appointed but understand fully that this entire mess should be investigated by someone with enough authority and prosecutorial powers to get to the bottom of this 'Deep' State' brotherhood.

Agreed. All we need is good US Attorneys, everyone is empowered to seat a Grand Jury and begin compelling testimony. Special Counsels are big pain in the ass, though in very special and prescribed circumstances, which Rat-Faced Rosenstein's appointment of Mueller did not meet, they may be necessary. Per the appointment clause of the US Constitution, they should be less powerful than a US attorney, which of course again, the rogue appointment of Dirty Bob doesn't meet either. I wouldn't be surprised if everything Dirty Bob does goes up in smoke.

For REAL work, we need US attorneys working with Grand Juries. Generally this is undisclosed, so hopefully there is a great of this in progress.

Perhaps he'll be defending his position this afternoon, but he'll need a lot of proof to somehow flip Trump's characterization. Maybe Lisa Page will be a character witness.

This is where the theories of the "Deep State" start to make a ton of sense.

While I don't think it is some global crazy conspiracy to take over the world.

I do think that Democrats have been loading every agency they can through schools and new programs. This is BLATANTLY OBVIOUS when you do nothing else other than look at the voting percentages in DC

Meanwhile, back in reality, away from desperate weepy conspiracy theories, Judge Ellis -- the same judge that Trump and all the Trumplings said was so totally awesome -- just denied Manafort's motion to dismiss. Ellis said that yes, the special counsel certainly does have the authority to prosecute. He doesn't like it, but it's definitely legal.

So, Manafort is out of options. He's screwed.

Maybe a new deranged conspiracy theory can help him out. Give it a try. Be crazier than you've ever been before. Ask your bestie Putin for help, if necessary. And start threatening violence, since that's what conservatives do best now.

Doesn't it bug you that, after the thousands of hours you've devoted to conspiracy theories, all you've accomplished is humiliating yourselves? Or have you become immune to humiliation?

This conspiracy theory was stupider than usual. Someone volunteers to testify, so it proves he's guilty? Nice jackboots you all are wearing.

Is that how some of the arrests related to the Mueller probe manafort for example were done?

Maybe it's just because I'm a revengeful prick but I would have no problem with whatever the investigation uncovers even if it's stuff from 10 years ago in completely unrelated like taxes. There are so many higher-ups that have been gaming the system with limited recoursr.

He took off after his last ban. Made me sad because we would talk hockey and he was a St.Louis Blues fan, and neither of us ever thought his team would go very far. Turns out they went all the way lol
