The controversial Algerian fighter, who is alleged to have male chromosomes, made headlines Thursday by making Italian fighter Angela Carini withdraw in less than a minute.
Carini, who collapsed in tears before leaving the ring, spoke about the power of Khelif’s punch.

After the match, Carini told Italy’s ASNA: “I’m used to suffering. I’ve never taken a punch like that; it’s impossible to continue. I’m nobody to say it’s illegal.

“I got into the ring to fight. But I didn’t feel like it anymore after the first minute. I started to feel a strong pain in my nose. I didn’t give up, but a punch hurt too much and, so I said enough. I’m leaving with my head held high.”

What is she complaining about? If that person says they are a woman than that person IS a woman right?
What's your political opinion on the matter??
There is a video in the link. Twitter clips don't work here and I tried to find it on youtube but its all people talking about it and not showing it.
To the Kamala voters, can't wait until your daughters join sports! Make sure you lecture them about being all inclusive when they come home with bruises from playing field hockey against a 6 foot 4 300 lb "female" field hockey teamate

I bet your girl Kamalala probably laughed when she saw that match.
    Cheers!

I’m against biological males competing against women. But could you be a little more dramatic? 6’4” 300 lb field hockey player? My lord…clearly you’ve never watched the sport. FYI…girls come home with bruises playing against other girls in that sport. The ball is rock hard and hurts like hell getting hit by it. My daughter came home with bruises all the time playing field hockey.

So that makes a grown ass man beating the crap out of a woman on international television OK? The poor woman took two punches and threw in the towel. What I utterly loved about it was the utter disgust the woman displayed after the fight. The man tried to be nice and she was not having any part of that. She acted as if the man did not exist.

Pretty damn disgusting sight overall. There is something instinctual within me that reacts in rage when I see a man beating a woman. Not sure how the coaches and referee put up with it. If the LGBTQIAAAx34f32sAA@@! community were actively trying to get the entire world to hate them, I cannot think of a better of doing it than this.

Not conclusive evidence. This stems from a fox hit piece:

The Algerian Olympian was disqualified from the 2023 World Boxing Championships after the International Boxing Association determined Khelif failed gender tests. According to Reuters, Khelif was found to have elevated levels of testosterone.

IBA President Umar Kremlev explained the decision at the time, according to Russia’s Tass News Agency.

"Based on DNA tests, we identified a number of athletes who tried to trick their colleagues into posing as women. According to the results of the tests, it was proved that they have XY chromosomes. Such athletes were excluded from competition," Kremlev said.

That's as close as we're getting to the truth. Thanks Fox News for your stupendous journalism. (****ing useless).

Alleged? So it could have been a stronger female, no one knows?

what's interest is when I was younger we had the battle of the sexes, women claimed to be equal to the men, we had girls wanting to play boys football, are women now saying they are not equal to men, even if they only think their opponent might have some male dna in them

btw, I think men should not fight women... period, sport or not (but not sure that is the case here)

I feel bad for that female boxer, it's a shame what the left is doing to women and to sports in general.

Tried to find that old case I mentioned - this is where it all started

I admit I supported this girl being able to play, but that legal decision works both ways, just never saw it in reverse happening

    "A 15-year-old girl who won a legal battle to..." Aug. 26, 1985

    https://www.upi.com/Archives/1985/08/26/A-15-year-old-girl-who-won-a-legal-battle-to/7961493876800/

"I'm recommending the present policy of excluding one sex from some sports and another sex from other sports be tabled,' Neumann said."

"'Beth does not belong on the athletic field. She does not have have the skill of an athlete,' Coach George Greiner said of the Saturday drills."

"Football Team’s Newest Player Isn’t One of the Guys" Aug. 25, 1985

    https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1985-08-25-mn-24809-story.html

"Elizabeth Balsley won her court battle, but winning over her football teammates may be a bit harder. Balsley, of Annandale, N.J., donned No. 18 and signed up for her high school team after a judge affirmed girls’ right to try out for boys’ teams. But most of the boys seemed convinced that she should punt--immediately."

she was found to have elevated levels of testosterone.

    not XY chromosomes
    per the article above

this is not the left.... this is the law, equal rights.... neither side wants to address this issue directly via the law in Congress it seems

as the question is, how do we address this without harming equal rights laws

if we say women are weaker than men and can be discriminated against based on that belief, does that harm equal rights in jobs, ect.....

Please do not defend this, that man was born with XY chromosomes and it is a blatant disregard for women to let men compete in boxing.

the article said they tested for XY, they did not say she had XY, had they found XY, I think they would have led with that - they did say some players were excluded that had XY

"that they have XY chromosomes. Such athletes were excluded from competition"

"Khelif was found to have elevated levels of testosterone."

seems like being better at sports just means being gifted by genetics with more testosterone than average (male or female)

Men are better boxers than women and that is a man competing against a woman. Shame on the Olympics.

I think we need to exclude all people gifted by genetics with more testosterone than average from sports, it's not fair to average people ;)

Yes, it was and is a man. Without a doubt.

Men do not belong in women's sports, not at all.

What a weak and pathetic man it is, to think he won anything by beating up a girl.

We can clearly see who his defenders are.

The same sort of fundamentally confused people who believe that a man can become pregnant or that a woman can impregnate a man.

Liberal ideological insanity at its finest

we still do not know if she is a man, no one is defending men punching women

Personally, I think these violent sports are harming both men and women, the brain is damaged by that many hits - why do we still have these violent sports?

no, what they believe is that trans-men can become pregnant, do you think they can't?

trans-men are masculine souls in a female body, the body is still female (thus can get pregnant)

think of it as if you somehow found yourself in a female body, would you instantly start being attracted to men, or still be you (a man) in a female body

Go look up male or man in a dictionary and see what it says.

Men do not have breast vagina and ovaries.

Even my alter ego Rita knows this

This lady's life long dream was shattered.... she was fighting in honor of her ill father..... think of the hours in training she has devoted over the years to be able to enter the ring.... gone... if you think it is OK the YOU are part of the problem...

There is only one type of male, those who have a penis and testicles. No man ever had a vagina.
