You need to re-read those articles. What they say is that the IBA President claims she has XY chromosomes but has not released details of the testing. The President is Russian & made the claim after she beat a Russian fighter. The articles also make it clear the the IBA is a corrupt organization that is no longer recognized by the IOC. The articles also point out that she has passed IOC requirements twice and had even passed IBA requirements prior to the 2023 tournament. She has also boxed in at least one tournament subsequent to the 2023 IBA one.

So, whatever the truth about her gender (and everything I have read affirms she was born female with female genitalia & reproducting organs) those IBA claims should be treated with extreme suspicion. She likely has some sort of condition that naturally elevates testosterone. That does not make her a man.

I'll admit I fell into the hate trap of those thinking this was a man beating a woman. Turns out she was born female and happens to have higher testosterones. She's been beaten by 9 other female boxers too.
