Nope. Most of us merely dislike lies and distortions. The dimwit Fox morning crew and people like Hannity provide both of those in copious quantities. But it's not simply the lies and distortions. It's those who buy them hook, line and sinker and those would be a good portion of the FOX viewers. A very poor quality in people to not be able to discern fact from fiction..

    - - - Updated - - -

Ifs and woulds are poor excuses for a valid argument.

No lol, again, they get busted, flat out, pretty much every single day. Sometimes many times in a single day. Reality exists. Reality matters. You can't just throw your hands up and say "meh, some places are liberal, some are conservative, sounds about the same." You need to distinguish between credible liberal and conservative sources and liberal and conservative sources that are not credible. Fox, obviously, is not credible. The WSJ, which is just as conservative, is obviously totally credible. If you really aren't making that kind of distinction, you aren't processing news in a reasonable way.

For one, Obama's immigration policy. It does nothing to help America.

Second his foreign policy is a mess. He is dragged by public opinion and not what his Generals advise him. He has made a mess of the Middle East and has ticked off many of our Allies.

Kind of like Obama saying "If you like your insurance you can keep it...." or "I will close Gitmo"

Was he lying or is he just an idiot?

This dumb mantra again? Ley me be very clear about this: we know the difference and who said what. We laugh about it because fey very clearly characterized palin and her dimwittedness. We also know it pisses off her worshippers so we LOVE repeating it. Clear?

    Now you are getting it.

Such oblivious sheep like behavior is certainly not limited to a particular political ideology.

OTOH, Bill Maher and Tina Fey and John Stewart are "entertainers" just like the right claims Rush is and they sure as hell do not claim to be "fair and balanced".
Caution you are entering the spin zone.

If it wasn't for Fox News we wouldn't know about:

    Fast and Furious
    IRS Attacks on the IRS
    NSA Attacks on Private Citizens
Justice Department Attacks on Journalists not towing the Obama line
    Open Borders and Crime
    Benghazi Lies
    Obamacare Lies
True number of Americans out of work
    Horrible GDP Numbers
The attack on cheap energy for Americans by Liberals / Obama
    TEA Party at all

    Thank God for Fox News.

Go ahead give some specific examples.

the reason is that Fox lies on a regular basis in the guise of news because reality has a left wing bias.

We would know about all that stuff. Fox literally didn't break any of those stories (Ignoring the opinionated nonsense you listed). Anything thats on Fox, NBC, ABC, CBS... whatever, is so far behind the internet at this point.

My observation of Fox News from the few times I've bothered to watch it (or been forced to in a waiting room somewhere) is that they don't so much deliberately tell something that it blatantly untrue as they lie by omission or deliberate distortion of the facts of the particular news item they are broadcasting. A lie by omission is defined thusly:

As for their distortions, my fav example is an old cold war joke:

Seems the American ambassador and Soviet foreign minister were meeting informally on occasion for lunch and eventually got around to discussing the various merits of their limos. After a while, the Soviet foreign minister challenged the ambassador to a race around Moscow's recently completed ring road, his ZIL limo versus the ambassador's Cadillac. It wasn't much of a contest, as the Cadillac easily finished well in front. However, the next day, Pravda reported an exciting race around Moscow when a ZIL limo finished second and an American Cadillac came in next to last.

Think about it when you watch Fox.

They do a lot of that. There isn't any debate there. They've supported a cottage industry of fact checkers for years now.

I guess that's why their audience is so poorly informed.

Would you be so kind as to point out exactly what obviously false nonsense Fox News made up today? What about yesterday? Could you provide that made up nonsense? The day before? Please be specific. You are making a rather specific claim and i would like you to back that claim up.

Up till Fox News and the new internet media liberals had the monopoly on the news now that they are seeing it slip away and the public is finally able to be informed of both sides of an issue liberals are crying like a toddler when you take their toy away

So Fox News omitted a story about a Climate March. That is it? Tell me you have more. Don't they have a climate march close to every day of the year in some place or another? Fox News also omitted a story that they had some sun shine in Lapwai Idaho as well. Who cares? I'm sorry, but your link doesn't support the assertion that Fox News makes up nonsense every day. They simply didn't cover a story that probably doesn't merit coverage. Sorry.

Now let's talk about stories the Mainstream media under reported or outright omitted:

Fast and Furious (over 1 year)
Benghazi (sat on it for months because of the election)
New Black Panthers intimidate voters and poll workers
IRS Attacks on the TEA Party
NSA Attacks on the U.S. Public
Justice Department attacks on James Rosen (Fox Reporter)
    Harry Reid Dirty Land Deals
Charlie Rangel's IRS dodging of taxes
Obamacare dirty tactics and change or rules after Massachusetts elects a Republican Senator to stop it.

... I could go on, but the point is more than made. A "Climate March"? Really?

They have three climate marches occurring in Portland this month alone. In Eugene Oregon, they have a climate march once or twice a week. If the news covered every climate march then how on earth could they possibly fit in broadcast time for fluffy kittens playing piano stories? Someone has to prioritize!!

And let us look at just one item you mentioned, Benghazi. Does the press know where Obama was during the Benghazi attacks? Never been answered. Does the press know what Ambassador Stevens was doing in Benghazi in the first place? That question has never been answered. Does the press know or even care about the real motivation of the Benghazi attacks? And with all this, we are directed to a climate march. Sad indeed.
