The genetic markers that are considered signs of being Jewish, are also found amoung other peoples in the Middle East, including Yemenites, Syrians, Libyans, Egyptians, etc.

Clearly there genes are only evidence of Levant ancestry, not necessarily being descended from ancient Jews.

 

Or better yet, why don't the invaders from Russia and Poland pack it in and go back where they came from.

Genetics doesn't care about borders.

The whole Israel-Palestine issue is caused by them wanting a state with a monopoly over legal use of force. It's easy to herd people like sheep when they're unified (as in Australia), but much more difficult when those sheep want to go in opposite directions. One size does not fit all.

So they're stuck in conflict. All the cries from Israelis about their security is statist nonsense, but the cries from Palestinians about occupation and stolen land are just as nonsensical. Until they get over their individual to individual issues they're not going to make progress. There is no easy solution, and it certainly doesn't end with a one state or two state solution.
