The Apostle John wrote the book of Revelation, one of the disciples of Jesus. You're wrong. Have a great day.
That's your choice if you don't believe what the bible actually says and just cherry pick the bits you prefer.
Mohamad's God is his God. And his religion is different from Abrahams. So they don't have the same God. All humans trace back to Adam and Eve, whose God is the God of all mankind. Yet mankind has many different Gods and religious traditions due to evil and falling away. Furthermore, one needn't have a God or religion to conspire to do evil. And such conspiracies can develop their own God for the cause of self justification. That said, it is all a perversion of the truth or the one true God. And it is accomplished by mans adjoining with evil which comes from Satan, whose goal is the destruction of the true God and the claiming of his glory. He does this by obscuring the truth, leading and sifting men into a variety of falsehoods and beliefs, like small prisons where even no articulated belief is a form of captivity. Nevertheless, the true Gods work is advancing in this chaos, calling people to true life and freedom in himself.
Jesus said that he is the way, the truth, and the life. And that only thru him and his gospel of repentance can one approach the Father.
Wrong. The Romans had no reason to believe the Jewish 'King on a donkey'.would cause any trouble. The rebellion and destruction of the Temple was 37 years after Jesus death. It had nothing to do with any riding on a donkey. Give up. Ypu know little of the Bible or the conditions opf the time. .
What is the god of woman-kind, and is that one of the goddesses described in Genesis 1:26-27 in whose image and likeness a woman was created by the male creator god? But either way, our aborigines can't trace back to Adam & Eve or Adam & Adam (Gen 5:1-3) since they arrived here over 50,000 years before Adam's grandmother was born. 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Give up. You know little of the bible or the conditions of the time. There were issues between the Sicarii-Jews etc and the Romans (6-73 CE) before the Jewish rebellion and destruction of Jerusalem and the crucifixion of ~6000 Jews and over a million killed. The biblical story describes how a bloke claiming to be the "King of the Jews" rode into town on a donkey. The Jewish authorities feared that he might stir up the people to revolt against the Roman occupation and ~6000 Jews would be crucified and Jerusalem destroyed and over a million killed then, which is why they turned the donkey rider over to the Romans to appease them, instead of just killing him themselves as they originally decided (John 11:48-50 Mark 14:1-2). And why the donkey rider's gang of 12 went and hid to avoid being executed by the Romans too.
But the Jews still supported the Moslems against the crusaders, and lived in harmony in Palestine before the Zionists decided to get rid of the Palestinians like Joshua and his band of murdering thugs.
And the Jewish authorities would remember the 2000 Jews who were crucified by Varus 35 years or so before.
And 1Tim 4:9-11 says that even unbelievers are saved as long as they can fit through the eye of a needle.
IOW Abraham & Moses & Noah & David etc never went to heaven since they didn't believe in Jesus or repent their sins. And David was even his god's begotten son (Psalm 1:7) even though he was a murderer who said his love with Jonathon was more wonderful than with his wives and concubines (2Sam 1:26).
Doesn't change the fact that Abraham & Moses & Noah & David etc didn't believe in Jesus and didn't repent their sins, even though David was his god's begotten son. Or don't you believe what the bible says?
So why does the bible have false assumptions? So what do you teach to the Sunday School third graders? And do you teach them that Abraham and Moses and Noah and David never went to heaven since they didn't believe in Jesus or repent their sins?
Laughable. Of course there were problems between the Sicarri Jews and the Romans and between the Sicarri and other Jewish sects who would not support the Zealots for fear of Roman repercussions. The war between Rome and the Jews was brought on by the Zealots - not the ordinary Jewish people. Because of the actions of the Zealots and their followers the ordinary people were forced to defend themselves against Roman invasion. The very fact that the Romans - after the rebellion was put down - allowed most Jews to remain in Palestine is a recognition of whom the Romans actually blamed - the Zealots. After the zealot rebellion in the 2nd century the Romans could not allow any more trouble and so Israel was dispersed. Again, the rebellion was 37 years after the death of Jesus. It had nothing to do with his riding into Jerusalem on a donkey. I doubt the Romans even knew the Jewish belief of a king riding on a donkey. The fact the Jesus was popular with the people had no problems for the Romans. Just for the Religious heirarchy. They were angry that Jesus had shown up their hypocrisy. I've already shown you that Jesus was no threat to the Romans. He ministered for about 3 years and they never questioned or approacherd him once. When he was arrested it was the Temple Guard that arrested him - not the Romans. Johns Gospel is wrong. The Romans never took orders from Jews. The figures you give are laughable. Josephus figures are nonsense. 6000 crucified? WHERE WOULD ALL THE WOOD AND CROSSES COME FROM?. THE WOOD NEEDED FOR THE CROSSES WAS IN SHORT SUPPLY. WHERE WOULD THERE BE AN AREA FOR THIS TO HAPPEN?. HOW MANY MEN WOULD IT TAKE TO CRUCIFY ALL THIS NUMBER/ Josephus was a traitor to his people and and acceped work as an historian for the Roman in exchange for his life. His histories of the time are to be accepted as reasonable. His histories of the past ridiculous. You are welcome to reply but I have more to do than waste time replying. I've spent decades of my 85 years studying the Bible and the background on which it is written. You obviously haven't. Good luck.
Where does it say they weren't aware of or didn't believe in Jesus Christ, the lamb slain from the foundation of the world, or repentance? How much of anyone's life is a matter of record? It is highly presumptuous and foolhardy to take that which isn't recorded in scripture out of the context of the biblical theme, and create a story to suit yourself for the purpose of annulling the work of God. We have already discussed that the reason Abraham wasn't given the ten commandments is due to his already living by the will of God. So the commandments would be redundant and confining to the grace of the matter. On the other hand, the Jews who Moses led out of captivity had no such natural fidelity to God because they had strayed in spirit and behavior. So commandments were in order to restore them to practice.
And the Jewish authorities would remember the 2000 Jews who were crucified by Varus 35 years or so before, and why they wanted to get rid of the donkey rider who claimed to be the King of the Jews in case he stirred up another uprising and Jerusalem was destroyed and thousands more crucified, and as they prophesized. Which is why Caiaphas said "What fools you are! Don't you realise that it better for you to have one man die for the people, instead of having the whole nation destroyed?" (John 11:50). And since you have obviously not studied the bible - so endeth the lesson.
What evidence do you have that Abraham and Moses and Noah and David etc believed in Jesus and repented their sins. And even though David was his god's begotten son, he was a murderer who said that his love with Jonathon was more wonderful than with any of his wives and concubines. And where does the bible say that the ten commandments etc applied to Abraham and his ancestors, given it wasn't morally wrong for Canaan to kill his brother Abel, or for Noah's father to kill a young bloke (Gen 4), or for Abraham to butcher and cook his son as a sacrificial meal for a god?
You are the one who said they didn't. So it is to you to prove it. That it isn't recorded is meaningless. Neither is it recorded what they ate for breakfast, lunch and dinner. That doesn't mean they never ate or did anything other than what is recorded. You are also confusing Jesus the Messiah with David the man. Where do you get that it wasn't wrong for Cain to murder his Brother. That's an absurdity. Did God curse Cain for the fun of it? And what do you infer in love between friends. Also to say that David was an unrepentant murderer is without foundation: “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. … “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.” Psalm 51 There is also no mention in the Bible of Noah's Father killing anyone.
