Lots of red flags were raised about Biden, but that was never enough. Now a few anonymous reports are enough to keep Hegseth from being approved.

I suspect that Trump selected him because he liked his attitude towards the military. He was looking for someone who would get rid of extraneous garbage which only detracts from the military's fighting ability. I have said the same thing myself. The military should not be a social experiment. Its duty is to defend the US.
