For those of you who are wondering what Democrats are holding relief to American workers and businesses hostage for, here's your list:

Once again, Democrats are putting party before country. I'm not the least bit surprised they would do this but it doesn't make it any less despicable and outrageous. We'll remember this on Election Day...:boo:

More details on the unrelated demands Pelosi and her party are holding the American people and economy hostage for (items in red):

And how long do Dems plan to continue holding us hostage?

For all their fear mongering there doesn't appear to be any sense of urgency on the Dems' part...

What is on display is that Dems are so wedded to leftist ideals (what's this stuff with the Dreamers, emissions standards, making other people pay off the debts of college graduates, and so forth??) that they are holding newly unemployed, low-income workers hostage, used as pawns to push through their Green New Deal and affinity for socialist-type programs. NOW is not the time to try and ram through things the country DOES NOT WANT. Let the voters decide that in November, but in the meantime, stop holding up this rescue package!

That was one of the Emanuel brothers. I believe it was Rahm. The other one said that we got stuck with Obamacare "due to the idiocy of the American voters."

    Both Democrats, of course.

Obama's chief of staff Rahm Emmanuel once said it and Pelosi, Schumer and their fellow Democrats are saying right now.

Seems like a lot of stuff... and yet, it all makes more sense than a $500 billion miscellaneous bailout for Trump and Mnuchin to personally oversee...

    Good luck, Nancy!

Also, Nancy hasn't "blown anything up"...... yet...

Partisan politics 101: Generate lots of pain, suffering and death to justify a complex legislative process that can be used to squeeze loot out of the donor class.

Lots of folks say it was Churchill., But I thought that it was actually attributed to one of the early marxists...

I'm all for more transparency but holding relief hostage for a lot of totally unrelated totally partisan stuff does not make more sense.

Thanks for nothing, Nancy! We can always count on you to put party before country....:boo:

Big Bad Businesses will always be dairy cows for the corrupt ruling political class. The "stimulus bills" will be record setting "double milkers".

"Thus business's agenda has an open-ended mercurial, opportunistic character. If one strategy for gaining a benefit gets nowhere, it is soon dropped in favor of a project with better prospects. As a result, companies and trade associations never know who their allies and enemies will be in the future. That is why business likes to go along with those in power and hates to oppose them."

"The technical term for the philosophy that guides business in its dealings with the state is corporatism - broadly, the management of a nation's markets and politics by companies, unions, other producer groups in their own interests, backed up where necessary by the power of government."
The Suicidal Corporation, How Big Business Fails America, Paul H. Weaver, Simon and Schuster Inc. 1988. p 182.

Revolutionary Marxists openly worked to exploit catastrophes.
Rahm Emanuel is the most recent politician to embrace that tactic.

“You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” Rahm Emanuel”

“We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us.” President Barack Obama

Speaking of double-milkers, the Democrats' efforts to turn this into a multi-trillion dollar package is another thing that has me concerned. McConnell and Trump need to contain the cost - $1 trillion should be more than massive enough for now.

Even after seeing that list AGAIN...
...(And, seeing it posted at PF for the 100th Time)...
    ...It STILL Sounds GREAT...

Hopefully Mitch will stop hurting Americans and get a deal done.

That's exactly why the radical talking points are "Just give the dems what they want so the bill can pass!"

Trump might as well throw "democrats must forfeit the upcoming election" in there, too... Just give the Repubs what they want so the bill can pass. HERP DERP!!!

Mitch would have had a deal yesterday if Democrats hadn't decided to hurt Americans to help themselves.

How does anything in the bill not related to coronavirus relief make sense at this current moment with what we're facing?

It looks like Dems are intent on losing the upcoming election on their own.

It's precisely that kind of arrogance that cost them the House in 2010, the Senate in 2014 and the White House in 2016...

    Huh?

Mitch can HAVE NO Deal, Unless it Passes the House.

Are you under the Impression that McConnell can unilaterally pass legislation?

    It doesn't work that way.
