I could see that happening, very good call. Irregardless we are left with some really poor choices in 2020.

You are doing yourself and our country a disserice if you do not believe Mueler's report that Russia did interfere in the election process. As far as collusion there was not sufficient evidence to conclude. Insufficient evidence is nor an exoneration.

So you weren't able to figure out about there being no bipartisan support for impeachment. Now you know why the Repubs did need to vote.

No the actual resolution ALLOWED it, you were deceived by the lying GOP yet again!
    From the Resolution;
The House authorizes the Committee on the Judi-
11 ciary to conduct proceedings relating to the impeachment
12 inquiry referenced in the first section of this resolution
13 pursuant to the procedures submitted for printing in the
14 Congressional Record by the chair of the Committee on
15 Rules, including such procedures as to allow for the par-
16 ticipation of the President and his counsel
    .

Why would anyone expect there to be bipartisan support for anything? We don't live in a world where the parties work together anymore, largely because the people who elect them are at each other's throats.

So why did the Repubs join with the Demos against Trumps spending bill? Why did the Repubs join in with the Demos about the Kurds? Why did Repubs join in with Demos against Tarriffs?

Naturally the Demos who have been controlling the narrative were hoping a Repub would cross over. Now they know they stand without any Repub support.

Again, why would a Republican vote against the president, the head of their party, when their vote would change nothing about the resolution passing? Similarly, why would a Republican vote against the Republican resolution when their vote would not accomplish anything at all because it was non-binding?

Do you not see the way politics work here? No unnecessary risks were taken by either side to do what they needed.

Pretty much true. Some politicians welcome impeachment hearings, others do not. Your point about committing perjury is a good one. That is why the closed hearings and witness testimony is so valuable. Witnesses were unable to coordinate their testimony and now their testimony is carved into the record. Deviation from previous testimony risks a charge of perjury or lying to Congress. They now have little flexibility in all this.

Got my tickets, now bring on the popcorn and beer.

Even the Republicans acknowledge that Russia interfered in our election.

Vindicate? What the heck is "vindicate"?

It was an investigation, in order to "vindicate" he would have had to be guilty of something.

So you admit, the Democrats turned our political system against the actual rule of law? That people are innocent before proven guilty?

    Yeah, we know ....

Yes, but that was never in question. The question, which you keep trying to ignore, is "Was Trump colluding with Russia"

A 2 year investigation with something like $30 million dollars, all to find out Trump did absolutely nothing.

Oh, and fun ending point, now you guys don't even want to investigate why we wasted so much time on Trump instead of looking at Russia.

But don't worry, it'll be brought up very soon

The investigation was about collusion. But muller said if true,p was not guilty of obstruction of justice, he would have said so...he said that’s for the co gress to do

It also took us millions of dollars to find out that Russia is involved in our election and did what it took to get Trump elected. I guess you don’t understand that because they were looking into collusion , they did find obstruction of justice and Russia’s role in our election..but you don’t care..whatever it takes to get trump elected

Clinton failed to tell the truth under oath. There was no doubt about that.

What if you were on trial and your attorney had to clear everything with the Prosecutor, would that be fair?
