did the republicans who frequent cocaine orgies vote to pass it?

any chance of senate passage? will biden sign it on april 20 as bill clinton can finally inhale?

Raskin: I concede our party is not for the kind of cocaine fueled orgies that a freshman Republican representative bragged about but we do understand that their marijuana prohibition laws don’t work for our people

Let's hope so. Prohibition does not (mj, guns, abortions, whatever) work.

Arresting people for having a plant does not benefit society. Big pharma and prison for profit benefits from marijuana laws.

The Senate won't pass it but passage is inevitable and then the red states will start with ridiculous restrictions to make it almost impossible to get.

    Not sure about others.
But Florida is a red state and there are stores everywhere selling weed.
CBD can be purchased by the general public

and with a prescription, the real deal weed can be bought

Kids now days are spoiled. When I was a teenager, I had to walk through a bad neighborhood and risk getting robbed for crappy weed.

Now, theres an app on their phone and a man wearing a man bun will deliver the kush in less than 30 minutes.

I don't think it's bad to legalize it but I think that it's also necessary not to regulate it too heavy.

The States where it's legal are raking in a fortune in taxes. That has everyone's attention.

And the potheads are complaining about said taxes, which is how they sold it to the general public in the first place. Take Oklahoma, for example. All the potheads were saying "Just think of all the tax revenue it will bring into the state!". That's how they sold it to get it passed. Now those same potheads are complaining about the cost of the product and the taxes on it....

So what. The are raking in a fortune in taxes.

They can't go crazy with taxes or it will drive the black market. But it is certainly working where it has been legalized.

When illegal it was a huge drain on society. When legal it hugely contributes to society. Easy choice.

I preferred mushrooms when I was younger. Weed was not my thing. But I would still never advocate for mushrooms to be legal

    Why not.

Prohibition laws don't work. That is the first fact to get straight.

    Nice.

MJ laws here in Virginia are retarded. You can grow your own but you can't sell it.

Agreed. The Feds need to get the hell out of the way and let the states handle this.

Even when given the opportunity to use it legally, potheads still go out of their way to do it illegally. Even in states where it is 100% legal to have and grow a certain amount, they will go out of their way to grow and attempt to transport 300 metric tons of it anyway....

And if your state decides to prohibit it? You'll do it anyway. Gotta love the hypocrisy....

Mushrooms are already legal in OR. The active ingredient shows benefits for those suffering from PTSD. Personally, I don't believe throwing people in jail for their personal choices benefits society.

That amazes me. I would never recommend Psilocybin or any other hallucinogen to anyone suffering from PTSD.

I wondered why Trump did not push this harder, this is very popular with both parties, an historic win for the American people

the science is starting to change that view, ecstasy is being used in a controlled setting under professional care, to treat as it allows you to see things from a different perspective, and it stops the brain from looping - also seeing results with depression
