Birther ignorance? I really can't explain any other way why you never heard of two best selling books that were widely discussed in the media during the 2008 election campaign.

Sure; He lied and said he was Mexican, like his ancestors, to gain better access to admission.

What is the credible premise to believe Obama did?

Perhaps he could- I can't think of any reason why he would do so.

Perhaps he will for his Presidential Library, to put up alongside his birth certificate in an exhibit of documents that show what idiots the anti-Obama conspiracy nuts were.

Well we know that Romney has misrepresented things in the past- so using "Birther Logic" that means he likely misrepresented his college application.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/02/jared-diamond-mitt-romney_n_1732559.html

    http://www.exposeromney.com/
Misrepresentation - Mitt Romney is misrepresenting himself and his faith in order to secure votes from conservative and Evangelical Christians.

Now I think that idea is just as much hooie as anything the Birthers have suggested about Obama- but using Birther logic- of course there is 'credible premise' to believe he did. (really meaning- 'I oppose Obama politically and I am trying to find dirt on him, and smear him with innuendo and speculation about his past')

    Lol

So how did Gingrich respond when you asked him for his sealed records, since they were significant?

I have, now give me a reason to believe Romney misrepresented himself in order to get a slot in Harvard. When did Romney's agent publish a bio saying he wasn't born here? When did a major national magazine print an article saying he wasn't raised here. When did Romney self admit that he was a slacker in school and didn't make particularly good grades, as confirmed by one school, and spent his time doing drugs and partying yet managed to get into two ivy league schools?

you have not provided a credible reason.

as soon as you give me a credible reason to believe obama misrepresented himself in order to get a slot in harvard.
none of the above has anything to do with how obama got into harvard, nor does it give you a credible reason to suspect he was registered as a foreign student, since we know he is a natural born US citizen.

It all has to do with how he got into the most prestigious school in the country you can be obtuse if you choose. It raises red flags. Registering as having been born in another country would give him special consideration. This has all been covered, the question is did he. Is that how such a slacker with a mediocre scholastic record get into Columbia and then on that weak record into Harvard? Add that to the misrepresentations of where he was born and raised and that he dared not correct them or point out the errors at the time.................What explanation do you have?

Now give me a credible reason to suspect Romney did not pay any taxes for ten years.

Romney's ancestors weren't Hispanic but can you give me a credible premise for you assertion? Was he a slacker druggie who did not make good grades and skipped school mostly?

no, it raises no red flags. no more so that how romney or bush got in.

you have no credible reason to think he did.
what weak record? you have no idea what his grades were at columbia.
what misrepresentations existed during his time at harvard? how did they have access to them?

I'm not asking for or interested in his tax returns.

Again you can choose to be obtuse.

His weak record by his own admittance and no honors at Columbia.

assuming you can have crappy grades and get into harvard law school law, rahlwong doesn't know what a red flag is because he is one.

i'd like to see his lsats.

he passed the bar the first time, michelle didn't, then they both surrendered their law licenses. do we have any lawyers here that might explain why someone would do that, is it a common thing to do ?

Its common. If one is not practicing, one still must keep up with "Continuing Education" requirements OR lose their license. This is true in many fields, that require 'continuing education' to renew one's license. Surrendering the license allows one to have a dormant, not suspended or revoked, license.

obama has produced a record of failure in office. There is no need to pick fly poop out of the pepper.

And they don't have to carry malpractice insurance.

Snopes has an article on it- this was addressed a couple of years ago.

Well les go over this point by point- shall we?

the same school that Romney got into...and we don't know how he got into it either.

    Really?
    Really?

Tell me more- what 'special consideration' did Harvard Law School give to students from Kenya or Indonesia or Canada or whatever country birthers want to pretend Obama was from?

Well that is your question. But since there is absolutely no evidence or even an indication that he did....it appears to me to be politically motivated question.

Yet...you have yet to show that Obama didn't have good grades in High School or good grades in Occidental. You assume that he had a mediocre scholastic record- you speculate that he had a mediocre scholastic record. It is all just innuendo intended to smear President Obama.

    Because Harvard liked his application?

As a general guideline, most admitted applicants demonstrate potential for success in law school through an exceptional undergraduate academic record, LSAT scores in the top percentiles and substantial accomplishments in work or extracurricular activities; however, no one of these aspects of an applicant’s file is dispositive in the admissions decision.

Our assessment includes many factors such as work experience and demonstrated leadership, and also intangible qualities such as energy, ambition, sound judgment, ability to overcome adversity, high ideals, and concern for the welfare of others. Our admissions committee seeks not only to identify and recognize characteristics that are important to academic success in law school, but also qualities that will contribute diversity of perspective and experience, general excellence, and vitality to the student body.
    "

Considering that Harvard Law School admitted both of our current candidates for President, clearly they have a better understanding of who would be a good fit than you do.

What misrepresentations? Seriously- of the hundreds and hundreds of articles published about Barack Obama Jr., only one got his place of birth wrong- listing it as Indonesia. All the rest- for instance all the articles published while Obama was at Harvard Law School- that mentioned his place of birth showed him as being born in Hawaii. An obscure pamphlet listed his birthplace incorrectly as Kenya.

And you find these two publications relevant while the hundreds of others irrelevant. The only explanation for that is pure political bias.

I really don't have one. Just as there is no credible reason to suspect that Obama ever declared himself as being born anywhere other than Hawaii, there is no credible reason to suspect Romney didn't pay taxes.

The difference is of course that Obama has voluntarily released all of his tax information, and Romney hasn't- I don't care, but this is politics and it puts Romney on the defensive.

depends what you believe. that whole literary brochure thing is fishy. things have been changed after the fact, lots of things. plus jeff people don't normally expect the self proclaimed drunk and stoned kid to wind up in the top law school. it's all part of the story.

Neither am I but then I am not obtuse.

Yes if you gain entrance through some other means when your grades don't stack up. That's the point.
