How did we end up with both Russia and China as our enemies? I was told Russia was communist but isn't anymore, and China was but is now about where FDR was, and he was with our allies in WW2, so I don't know why they are both still our enemies.
Short answer: The US has an extremely stupid and short sighted foreign policy establishment; the "experts." Also they are abetted by extremely stupid and short sighted politicians. We should never have been in this position.
Who wants to be 'friends' with such criminal regimes? I mean besides labor racketeers and multi-national pirate gangs posing as 'corporations'.
Problem is the criminal regimes, labor racketeers and multi-national pirate gangs are also in AMERICA...
True, but every once in a while good people here rise up and smack the scum around. Even some Republicans are finally noticing Wall Street is more than willing to sell the country out for a buck.
In his book: The New Confessions of an Economic Hitman, John Perkins gives enough information to reveal that the US is responsible for a lot of the corruption in the nations of the world.
34.7 Billion dollars of weapons for the Ukraine shows that violence is the highest priority of the US government.
It shows the U.S. will support small countries against imperialist gangster regimes like Russia. The American pet food industry alone is larger than that, so that hardly constitutes a 'high priority', and in case even pacifist Sweden is worried enough to sign up for NATO now.
~ The U.S. does not pick enemies — the enemy does. America kisses the arse of China, Russia, the Middle East, etc... All of this in the well meaning " hope " that these countries will be influenced to blend into a free society and prosper. Instead the opposite happens — again and again. Meanwhile Capitola Hill elites get bribes, favors, secret off shore savings accounts , and of course reelection. By getting involved in other nations affairs our politicians act to the detriment of the USA . If America does survive this latest march towards totalitarian global government, it will most likely be by chance or by accident.
If the US media is telling the truth then Zelenskiiy has already won and Russia has been routed. So why the 34,700 million dollars in weapons?
This morning I was talking to someone in real life (IRL) who said the media has for months been reporting that Ukraine is losing. Whereas the media I'd heard said that Russia had been retreating in disarray since the first week of the invasion. So I guess I'll have to find some better media. And any opinions I might have formed I can no longer trust. Whether the 'thinking' is done by an expert system or by a mere average mortal, the old rule still applies: 'garbage in garbage out'. My stance is that if war can be avoided then it should always be avoided, because there are far better ways to resolve issues. 'War doesn't prove who is right, only who is left.'
