    • Emphasizing the trends of more people getting vaccinated.
    • Focusing on everyone’s freedom of choice.
    • Listening to concerns without judgment.
    • Offering credible information.
    • Correcting myths when necessary.
    • Helping them fit vaccination into their “world view.”

I think getting rid of the myths is the big thing. I'm waiting for the non-vaxxers to realize that some day there won't be anyone left in the republican party at the rate they're dying off.

I'm not sure that when it's all said and done, it's the Republican Party that will have lost more voters to Covid. Remember, communities of color that traditionally vote more for the Democratic Party are actually disproportionally hit by Covid-19, as well as the poorer class. The thing is, like my OP says, we shouldn't approach this with a partisan standpoint (that's the "world view" part) with followers of one party accusing the followers of the other party. This virus is an "equal opportunity" killer. It doesn't care if the victim is Republican or Democrat. In order to convince more people to get vaccinated, a respectful approach is indicated (the "without judgment" part). Going all accusatory on someone can only increase that person's alienation.

How about stop pressuring people to make decisions they want to take time and make for themselves?

And in the meantime, expand health care to account for the new reality that COVID isn't going away anytime soon.

The OP forgot a few points.

    1) Scare hell out of people
    2) Extort working people by firing them if they don't take it
    3) Incessantly repeat pharma and FDA/CDC talking points on internet fora

And we need to be honest with people instead of lying to them. Just in the US alone over 7,000 people have died shortly after receiving the vaccine and thousands and thousands more have had very serious reactions to the vaccines. And, as I said, those figures are just from the US. So, the left doesn't tell us the whole truth and nothing but the truth when they refuse to acknowledge the numbers, instead just saying, "It's a very low percentage, less than 1%". Well, yeah it is less than 1% but pushing a vaccine on hesitant people by lying to them is not really ethical. When thousands and thousands are actually dying or having extremely bad reactions to the vaccine, we shouldn't be having mandates and otherwise forcing or intimidating people to get a vaccine when people have actual justified fears of it. It's not all just misinformation and conspiracy theories. It is the truth as well.

In addition to that, it's just plain ludicrous to blame the unvaccinated for spreading Delta when the vaccinated spread Delta as well. We have places refusing to let in the unvaccinated and yet are fine with letting in the vaccinated who also spread Delta - right up to sports stadiums letting in 80,000 only vaccinated people when that would be a superspreader event. Where is the left and the lefty media in attacking that total irresponsibility? Nowhere to be seen as if Delta continues to spread the left will totally ignore that stadium full of 80,000 vaccinated people and blame everything on the unvaccinated.

According to whom? In certain studies, the CDC classifies people hospitalized for 'complications related to covid' within 14 days of recieving the vaccine as 'unvaccinated' because the vaccine takes 14 days to reach effectiveness ...which of course would eliminate anyone hospitalized and dying from complications from the vaccine that present similarly to complications from covid from being included in the total number of people dying from the vaccine, if those figures are similarly adjusted.

The left need to come clean that many people around the world have died from the vaccine and many more have had very serious complications from the vaccine. Why do you think the left won't give the numbers? All they ever say is, "Oh it's a very small percentage, less than 1%". Why won't they tell us the real numbers instead of wording it the other way? Because they don't want people to know what 1% adds up to.

What makes you think that complications from the vaccine present similarly to complications from Covid? First of all, the major (and potentially fatal) complications from the vaccines, the thrombotic thrombocytopenic syndromes, are related mostly to the AstraZeneca vaccine that is not approved in the United States, so these cases are extremely rare in the United States (a handful have been seen with the J&J vaccines). It is true that the mRNA vaccines can cause myocarditis, but these are extremely rare cases, they mostly occur in young and healthy recipients (not typically the ones that end up dying in hospitals) and they are transient and mild for the overwhelming majority of the rare cases. Some other vaccine complications, extremely rarely, include transverse myelitis and Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and these have no symptoms in common with a case of Covid-19. Finally, anaphylactic reactions also do not have symptoms in common with Covid-19 and tend to occur within the first 30 minutes after administration of the vaccines, not several days later.

Nobody is trying to say that the vaccines are 100% safe, but not, the vaccine complications tend to present very differently from Covid-19 complications, and statistically they are a drop in the ocean as compared to the several thousands of people being admitted every day to hospitals with Covid-19 complications. Sorry, but that's NOT what is happening in any significant numbers (that is, vaccine complications being misdiagnosed as Covid complications).

The vaccines do not cause viral pneumonia, drop in oxygenation, respiratory insufficiency, lung fibrosis, renal insufficiency, or cytokine storms with multiple organ failure which are the usual mechanisms that kill someone who acquires a bad case of Covid-19. The vaccines do not contain the live SARS-CoV-2 virus and cannot cause Covid-19. Evidently people who take the vaccine too late and still catch a bad case of Covid-19 because the vaccine did not have the time to result in an efficient immune response, are dying of the complications of Covid-19, not of the complications typically seen for the vaccines. With the one exception of myocarditis (again, the one resulting from the virus tends to be much more frequent and much more severe and to occur in all age groups, while the one resulting from the vaccine is extremely rare, tends to occur preferentially in young and healthy patients who are not the ones showing up in hospitals, and tends to be mild and transient), the complications from the vaccines are much different from the complications from the virus, and any doctor worth his/her weight would know the difference.

Sorry, if some source is giving you the impression that fatal complications from vaccines in any significant numbers have similar symptoms to fatal complications from Covid-19, you should seriously look into the soundness of the source you got that from.

    1. In reference to Covid19 INFECTION

Response from anti-Vaxers; “Stop the fearmongering.....Your chances of surviving a Covid infection is 99.9%”

    2. In reference to Covid19 Vaccine INJECTION

Chances of surviving a Covid19 Vaccine INJECTION; 99.9999%

    Response from anti-Vaxers; I’M SCARED!

According to the CDC, symptoms of covid include:
    "Most common symptoms include:

    • Fever
    • Dry cough
    • Tiredness
    Less common symptoms:

    • Aches and pains
    • Sore throat
    • Diarrhea
    • Conjunctivitis
    • Headache
    • Loss of taste or smell
    • a rash on skin, or discoloration of fingers or toes
    Serious symptoms:

    • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
    • Chest pain or pressure
    • Loss of speech of movement
Also according to the CDC, side effects of the vaccine include:
    • Tiredness
    • Headache
    • Muscle pain
    • Chills
    • Fever
    • Nausea

Just for the record, thats most of the more common symptoms of covid are the same as the officially listed side effects of the vaccines, and most of the side effects of the vaccines are also symptoms of covid, both according to the CDC.

      Regarding 'fatal complications'...

      Respiratory problems:
I'm sure I don't need to include a link that covid is commonly associated with respiratory distress... but also according to the CDC
If You Had a Severe Allergic Reaction to a COVID-19 Vaccine
    • If you had a severe allergic reaction—also known as anaphylaxis—after getting the first shot of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), CDC recommends that you not get a second shot of that vaccine. Learn which COVID-19 vaccines need a second shot.
A severe allergic reaction can cause a rapid heartbeat, difficulty breathing, swelling of the throat, or a generalized rash or hives. A person with a severe allergic reaction needs to be treated with epinephrine or EpiPen© or they must go to the hospital. Learn about common side effects of COVID-19 vaccines and when to call a doctor

"COVID-19 is highly infectious and can lead to fatal comorbidities especially acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)"
Acute respiratory failure in COVID-19: is it "typical" ARDS? - PubMed (nih.gov)

"Anaphylaxis, a relatively common life threatening medical emergency, is known to cause acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)."
    • Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome Following Anaphylactic Shock—“A Deadly Duel”—Case Report and Literature Review (scirp.org)

      Heart inflamation:
    • "While the virus that causes COVID-19 can cause heart inflammation, rarely, so can the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna). According to the CDC, there's a very minor risk of myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the outer lining of the heart) in adolescents and young adults after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
Can COVID-19 or COVID-19 Vaccines Cause Heart Damage? (unitypoint.org)

So in addition to covid and the vaccines both sharing most of their more common and less serious symptoms/side effects, they can both also cause heart inflamation and acute respiratory distress syndrome.

The only questions that remain are: what do you consider 'signifigant numbers' and why are you so certain that those numbers arent being made to appear less signifigant by the practice of categorizing some people who have been vaccinated as 'unvaccinated'?

(I'm not sure how to get rid of those bullet points, btw, sometimes PF will let me delete them and sometimes it won't... they arent supposed to be there)

    Sigh...

This is the problem with lay people. They see a list but they lack the clinical experience to prioritize and understand the differences in degree and the typical sequence of events.

Sure, shortness of breath in anaphylactic reactions... they occur typically in less than 30 minutes! And they are an UPPER airway obstacle for the most part (except for some possible wheezing). The shortness of breath in Covid is insidious and progressive and linked to the lungs that show a pattern of viral pneumonia but the upper airways are open. Again, no doctor would misinterpret these things. If you have an anaphylactic reaction immediately following the vaccine, you stick the patient with an epi-pen and it goes away in minutes. There is no FREAKING way that an experienced doctor (and even inexperienced ones) would misdiagnose a case of anaphylaxis to the vaccine as a case of Covid-19. The odds of this happening are a ROUND ZERO. Yes, both are acute respiratory syndromes... of a VERY different nature and EASILY diagnosed by any physician who is worth his/her weight, like I told you.

You talked about people DYING of vaccine complications being mistaken as deaths by Covid complications. No, that's not likely, regardless of for example fever occurring in both conditions. Covid causes a HIGH fever (think 104+ degrees) that again, is insidious and worsening, and a vaccinated person having a little low-grade fever like 99 for up to 48 hours after the vaccine is not really something that resembles what happens in real Covid. By the way, pray tell, would the vaccines cause an RT-PCR positive test? The answer is no, when the tests target the N protein rather than the S protein fostered by the vaccine.

About the heart inflammation, that's what I just told you: myocarditis. Just, I used the technical name. It's the ONE exception, and I had already acknowledged it, although maybe I overestimated you when I used the technical term.

Look, you said DYING FROM COMPLICATIONS (your exact words) of the vaccine versus COMPLICATIONS of Covid-19... not minor symptoms. Now you're talking about vaccines causing a little fever, a little headache, a little muscle pain... these are not FATAL COMPLICATIONS, GEE!!!

I told you what the serious COMPLICATIONS of the vaccines are, and how they are strikingly different from the COMPLICATIONS of Covid-19, even if both may start with a bit of fever and muscle aches...

Your scenario is COMPLETELY FAR-FETCHED. With the ONE exception of myocarditis (which again, is RARE, MILD, and TRANSIENT for the vaccines, and FREQUENT, SEVERE, AND PERSISTENT for Covid-19), all other complications of vaccines that could kill people do NOT resemble the complications from Covid that kill people. NOBODY would fail to discern the two situations.

So you suppose that people take the vaccine, go to a hospital, have fatal complications from it, and the doctors there think the person died of Covid. Sorry, but this is utterly ridiculous. It is NOT going to happen.

No. What I think might be happening is that deaths from the vaccine are being statistically recorded as deaths from covid instead. Its not the doctors in the hospitals that are recording 'vaccinated < two weeks' = 'unvaccinated', its bureaucrats much farther down the line of communication (and relatively disconnected from both the doctors in the hospitals and the regional/national medical policy makers) that are defining it that way.

And what is your evidence for what you "think" is happening?
Again, pray tell, how would that person be tested positive for the virus, if the person merely had the vaccine and not the virus???
And finally, there is a pesky thing such as a death certificate. If someone develops a thrombotic thrombocytopenic syndrome from the vaccine and dies, that's what will be in the death certificate. Or anaphylaxis that isn't helped in time and dies, that's what will be in the death certificate. While if the person has the virus for which the person is tested positive, and then develops the typical sequence of events that leads to death from the virus, that's what will be in the death certificate. The bureaucrats will record the cause of death that is certified by the doctor. Again, your scenario is utterly far-fetched and absurd. Period.

The government won’t stop spreading myths, so while I think your plan is great, you’ll have to talk to the Biden administration and the leftist media.

Almost everyone refusing the covid vaccine has no problem with vaccines. They have a problem with THIS long term-safety untested vaccine.

Interesting. Can you tell us what the long term consequences of attaching an active biological agent to your healthy cells is? Can you tell us what the increased rate of cancers, heart disease, kidney issues, neurological disorders, autoimmune disorders or infertility is in 5, 10 or 20 years after you attach the spike protein (which again is biologically active) to their cell?

We still don’t know the long term effects of a Covid infection, and yet, many anti-vaxxers have refused to protect themselves, and others around them. In addition, they’ve been promoting a NO-FEAR 99%+ Infection Survival Rate, and not one State’s Health Dept. has finalized its 2020 Mortality Annual Report, both number of deaths, and causes of death. In other words, their 2020 Mortalities have yet to be officially coded.

I only know of one person who was hospitalized with Covid, and today, still unvaccinated, he’s complaining about several health issues. However, locally, this person is known to be a loser, and a disability seeker, thus, who knows if he’s being truthful.

In reference to the vaccines, the anti-vaxxers BOTTOM LINE is; If you don’t know the long term effects of the vaccines, why take a chance?

Well, we do know the short term effects of the Delta Variant.......In Florida, if you get infected, there’s a 15% chance you’ll be hospitalized, a 5% chance you’ll be admitted in an ICU, and/or you will need a ventilator, and currently, Florida’s Delta Case Fatality Rate is at 1.3, (Residents ONLY), thus, in Florida, the chance of surviving a Covid infection is 98.7% (Residents ONLY), both Texas/Louisiana, near 98%.

Also, some anti-vaxxers are mathematically stupid, especially the ones who have been promoting a NO-FEAR infection Survival Rate of 99%, for example: one anti-vaxxer recently posted that only 1% of vaccine related deaths were reported to CDC’s VAERS.

    If true, if true, if true, let’s do the math;

As of today, how many vaccine doses were administered in the U.S?

    Answer; 374 million

From December 14, 2020 to August 30th, 2021, VAERS received 7,218 reports of death among people who received a Covid19 vaccine.

Source; CDC, Report Of Adverse Events

    Thus, 721,800 vaccine related deaths X 1% = 7,218 reported deaths.

Thus, total 721,800 deaths divided by 374 million doses = 0.19%

Therefore, if it is true that only 1% of vaccine related deaths were reported to VAERS, then your chance of surviving a Covid vaccine injection is 99.91%, and ironically, anti-Vaxxers have been promoting a NO-FEAR 99.9% chance of surviving a Covid infection, thus, WTF?

Good points, but there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that we've had 721,800 vaccine deaths, LOL. I know you just went with the hypothetical to show that even that would be a tiny percentage but it's just NOT happening... otherwise we'd have had an absolute number of deaths ABOVE Covid-19 deaths, and the Deaths By All Causes stats as compared to similar periods before the pandemic and before the vaccines existed does not support that; not even close.

Also, it's not even 7,218 vaccine-related deaths. It's 7,218 reported deaths in people who took the vaccine... which ABSOLUTELY doesn't mean that these people died because of the vaccine!!! Correlation is not causation!

See, these vaccines were given to people of all ages, and actually started being given to the very elderly, to nursing home residents, etc. These people regularly die. The vaccine protects them from Covid19 but doesn't protect them from their other causes of death (cancer, heart disease, etc.). However the VAERS does ask people to report ANY death to them... then we end up with stats like these.

Merely REPORTING a death doesn't mean that this death has been CONFIRMED as caused by the vaccine.

It's funny how these people immediately assume causality and if merely reported, say, a death in a hospice care facility of a resident in palliative treatment with terminal cancer, who happened to have received the vaccine, people scream SEE, THE VACCINE IS A KILLER!!!! Now, if you say that someone died of Covid-19 these same people will say "OVERCOUNTED!!! THERE WERE CO-MORBID CONDITIONS!!! THIS DEATH WAS WITH COVID, NOT FROM COVID!!!" Why is it that they never apply the same reasoning to these supposed vaccine deaths???

Recently a poster here showed that the REAL rate of vaccine deaths, INCLUDING the one that has had the most problems, the AstraZeneca, which is not even approved in the USA (the mRNA vaccines are much safer) is 0.0000123%. If we excluded the AZ vaccine, this rate would be even smaller.

So, people say, 1.3% deaths in Florida, not a big deal! Small percentage! Why do I need a vaccine???
Now, you offer them a vaccine that kills 0.0000123% of people (or fewer, not counting the AZ), that is, 105,691 times safer, and they say "KILLER!!!! ASSASSIN VACCINE!!! OOH, I'M SCARED!!! VACCINES KILL A LOT!!!"

    These people make no sense.

IMO, we’ve already persuaded the “undecided”, and what remains to be persuaded are the one track minded people.

Just a few nations have surpassed a fully vaccinated rate of 80%, and U.S. fully vaccinated rate is currently at 54%, thus, the time has come to discuss/debate “Vaccine Refusal Rates”, and it’s a global problem, especially among the first world/freedom to choose countries.

    Yesterday, I’ve compared U.S. and Canada’s Vaccine Refusal Rates;

    U.S......37%
    Canada........25%

A differential of 12%, however, in the U.S., 333M pop x a differential of 12% equates to a whole lot of refusals; 40 million

We need to also understand that in the highest vaccinated places on the planet, cases are surging. So, if the US joined the most highly vaccinated countries on the planet, our cases would still be surging. So, it is rather dishonest for the left to imply that if more people in the US would get vaccinated, cases wouldn't be surging because they still would.

I think first thing that should be done is to stop promoting leftist agenda. At least during the pandemic.
    That would help tremendously.

Agree, however, Hospitalizations would significantly go down.

A few months ago, DeSantis was right he said; “The name of the game is to keep Floridans out of hospitals”

And although Canada’s Daily Cases have been surging since mid July, I just googled their Current Covid Hospitalization; 1,567, per 1M pop; 41

    U.S. Current Covid Hospitalization; 96,563, per 1M pop; 290
