How to fix a flat screen

    I have an old flat screen (about 50 inches) which was replaced under warranty. The sound works fine but the picture is barely visible even in very low light. I HATE to just throw it away, Does anyone know how to fix it?

    I have a similar problem with a high definition flat screen monitor. Apparently it is possible to replace the background LED light but it would require searching for a YouTube repair video for your make and model and being able to source a replacement LED.

    In my case I found the video but I am still trying to locate a compatible background LED.

    I am hoping I can make it into a computer screen, that would be fantastic.
