I was just thinking... This amendment has been there since the foundation of the United States of America! It's kind of weird, coward, soft, defeatist to remove it just now because of a couple of frustrated idiots. America shouldn't change herself just because of retards with no life. So I have an idea, a suggestion for Obama and the US Government: Instead of modifying the 2nd amendment, why not modify the schools? In the same way there are fire extinguishers on the walls, there should be a steel locker in the wall next to them with you know what inside... ...with some double clip M16 or even a multi-barreled machine-gun with long ammo belts. Teachers should have the password to open them in special cases or if the situation appears serious enough, remotely open all lockers from the police station for anyone inside the building, any students and teacher to defend themselves. I'm sure there would be peace in all schools forever and the rifles in the lockers would only see the daylight with the anti-rust maintenance.
Does that even need mentioning? But sometimes smaller guns like hand pistols or even an SMG might not be enough. From what I saw in past cases, most of the time bigger guns would be needed .
And also the school assault rifles should also have a grenade launcher attached to them like Tony Montana's at the end of Scarface in case the perpetrators are moving in a compact group.
The problem isn't guns, the problem is inadequate security of our school. Today, a person can fairly easily walk onto most school campuses, and sometimes even in the school building itself, before anybody stops them. IMO, all schools should be fenced, have security cameras so that the complete campus is watched, and have secure entrances into the building. Our children are our most precious resource on this planet. They need to be secured as such.
