Because the Trump investigation was illegal.

He investigated Clinton because not doing so would have looked bad and he wanted to clear her,

you mist realize that this evidence that, as currently executed, blackground are not linked to sufficient data bases to be effective, that does NOT mean that background checks could not be configured in an effective manner.

In order to truly evaluate everyone, it would require an intensive investigation. That would require talking to neighbors and relatives and checking records. The cost of such investigations would be prohibitive for most people, especially the less affluent. The alternative is to conduct them as they are now, but when people lie like Hunter did, they face jail time. Not a fine which a rich man can afford, but serious jail time.

me either. the damn forum wouldn't let me edit . apologies

the first paragraph pf my reply is to wild bill kelso, who thinks that there is a greater than 0% chance that the insurrectionists are "antifa."

my answer to you is, essentially, that i have never lied on a government form, and think everyone who has (including trump's incredible claim that he has never taken drugs or alcohol.) should be punished appropriately.

Like I said. Those that violate the law when making gun applications should be sent to prison. It has been nearly three years and there is no indication that Hunter will ever be indicted for falsifying the application.

That is up to the democrat administration, not me. If they want stricter gun laws, then a good first step is to enforce those already on the books.

14th Amendment - Equal enforcement of the law.

Hunter committed a felony. If his last name was Trump he would already be charged.

Looks like is is good to have the Biden name.... not only did Hunter lie about being a drug use on the form... he may have been given preferential treatment when his was discharged from the Navy and with the zero policy of drug use (except for Biden's) which normally could very well results in a dishonorable discharge... his discharge was "administrative, not dishonorable"... I guess he slipped one by them when he answered no to "dishonorable discharge" when it was "other-than-honorable conditions"... but per Joe... "you don't ef with a Biden"
