I kept getting passed up the food chain. At perch four (number of perches is unknown) I finally I got to someone who flat out said she did not know and did not really know what it was and will call me. I was very nice. I told her "This is the first question the bank has not been able to answer. I'm flabbergasted!"
So she is going to find out and call me.
I'm not suggesting a poll, but maybe you should ask just for grins if nothing else.
FYI: Banks use your savings for leverage to make loans. They worry about falling saving's account balances, bank issued CD's, etc.

A handful of years ago, I asked my bank on how they calculate the APR for account interest, the branch said, "We don't know". That was HSBC.

Why are you trolling your bank and wasting people's time just for "grins" as you put it. People are busy enough at work and now they are dealing with trolls on the phone with nothing better to do all day. Do you know the ESG score for the company you work at? ESG scores are determined by 3rd party agencies. If you want to know the ESG score of a company you should probably be contacting the ESG rating companies directly because depending on the agency the scores can be different.
