By implying that vaccinated people were almost fully protected we did a great disservice and allowed the virus to spread more easily, not to mention firing people from their jobs and treating them like black sheep in blaming them for the spread of the virus when the vaccinated were also spreading the virus just as much or even more (since they were the ones out en masse). It was insane to keep the unvaccinated out of sports arenas while we let in 80,000 fully vaccinated people.

Except that's not really how it was. People who were vaccinated were more likely to take other precautions than those who refused. So it might be misleading to say, "Get vaccinated and that's all you need to do and you can then do whatever you want," but that's not really what was being said or what is implied by calling it a pandemic of the unvaccinated. The unvaccinated exhibited a whole constellation of disregard for others - being unvaccinated just being one of multiple behaviors. Another factor is that the virus changed. Earlier forms of the virus were effectively decimated by vaccination. Delta less so. And omicron even less particularly when it comes to transmission. Pretending we're just talking about one virus is one aspect of the article that is misleading. Regarding the viral load citation, its citation said this: "“Our study does not provide information on infectiousness,” Michelmore said." Among other limitations. At least the article acknowledges how effective the vaccine was in reducing disease severity.

Here's a quote from the press release where Biden referred to it as a "pandemic of the unvaccinated,"

    https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing...nt-biden-on-fighting-the-covid-19-pandemic-3/

Basically, he explicitly DID NOT say being vaccinated fully protects from covid. Rather that it helps especially against severe disease.

Of course but they will revise history to deny what they represented. Even the mask removals had the "No need for a mask if you are vaccinated" message. I will see if I can find it again, but I read a great article about how the left screwed this up in the same way the right did with the AIDS/HIV thing back in the 80's by turning it into a moral issue. I am triple jabbed, had COVID, and still wear my mask but all along the way I have had people on the left attack me for supporting people's right not to get vaccinated.

The thing that really irks me is that they were so against unvaccinated people being free and spreading the virus but they were perfectly fine with 80,000 vaccinated people spreading the virus in football stadiums, somehow implying that vaccinated people can't spread the virus when they were spreading it just as much or more than the unvaccinated.

They sold us on the story that the vaccine was effective when truth is it probably never was. The people who ran this CF are not going to just say oops, y'all were right all along. I have had 3 shots and I remember how safe I felt after the second one and that would have been a good thing if we hadn't continued destroying our way of life and the economy. Of course this Administration has to be given credit for most of that destruction.

It's a disgusting mess and there is nobody involved to trust on the issue.

As one who has been double vaccinated and once boosted let me just say sheeple will be sheeple. I went along with narrative for pure self preservation reasons. I'm still here at 70 years young so I'll take it.

I don't think the vaccines work but I've had 3 and will take the next one as well. I'm 78.

Just a new chance for the left to feign superiority. Couldn't let that go without running it into the ground now could they?

Another thing that irks me was the fact that they were perfectly okay with the blatant authoritarianism of threatening the livelihoods of over 100M people by telling them that they must undergo an invasive medical procedure or lose their job that they've held for all of their life beforehand w/o being a "health threat" of any sort.

Yes, men go mad in herds. They recover their senses slowly, and only one by one.

I think WHO and WEF knew that when they planned this crime.
