I understand why CNN didn't shut Trump down in the middle of the townhall, but...

He most definitely joined Trump and Barr's efforts to weaponize the DoJ. The fact that he failed doesn't remove this fact. He brought two indictments, and lost both. I think it's significant how one of the jurors basically said after the trial that it had been a complete waste of time. Not only time... but MILLIONS of dollars in taxpayer money. So he most definitely TRIED to particpate in the vendetta for proving that Trump basically operated a crime sindicate to win the 2016 elections.

That's a different story though. Did you already open the thread complaining about the millions squandered in this idiotic thing that turned out to just be a "rant"? Or are you telling me that wasteful spending and "big government" suddenly and somehow... "magically"... stopped being issues for you?

Not to mention 99.9999 times more criminal convictions... Or should I just say 100% to zero?

If by "in kind" you mean by putting their criminals in prison, that is correct. Shame on the right!

Well... the jurors found him guilty.

So you're telling me there was preponderance of evidence that Trump sexually abused a woman, and you're STILL defending him.

    Shame!

    Guilt
Guilty by just a preponderance of the evidence (50.1-49.9%), after the judge skewed the trial in prosecutors' favor.

It's amusing to watch you jumping from fairy tale to fairy tale. You see the Afghan disaster, the border disaster, the crime waves, the massive increase in the IRS army, the Congress and much of the government behaving like spoiled undisciplined children.... see the incredible deficit, and yet Trump dominates your mind.

I'm expecting to see you blame the next earthquake or natural disaster on him, too. Or perhaps your African Violet withering.... surely Trump had something to do with that......

Ok. Then let's just look at FACTS:

1- Trump was declared a sexual abuser by a jury of his peers
2- Durham squandered millions of dollars in an investigation that produced ZERO prosecutions.

Number 2 is the topic of another thread but... those are the FACTS. Oh... one more fact...

3- @spiritgide is no longer concerned about wasteful spending by big government. Or maybe it's only if it's Durham who does the spending

And you don't understand how your kind of thinking basically trashes the nation everyday. It's pitiful, Golem. Really is.

What is really really pitiful is that you claim that MY thinking trashes the nation, but that a pathological liar, criminal, sexual abuser, indicted, twice impeached, disgraced, sexual abuser being President... doesn't.

It says quite a lot about you, and about the sad sad state of the right in the ETTD era.

"dangerous and evil" pretty much describe out trump's qualifications for any job. he is, for reasons that may implicate epstein's other clients, never going to prison. the best i hope for is that he can be defeated badly enough not to hurt anyone with his temper.

If you really believed that, it would mean you have no ability to grasp reality and keep things in focus or balance. I don't think that is the case.
If one accepts that, the question becomes one of motive- and values. People lacking values have no problem fabricating things, spreading propaganda and ignoring reality and truth to achieve an unscrupulous objective.

Trump get's a clean report in response to the dems massive campaign to brand him a Russian collaborator, and your attention does not turn to the conspiracy behind that. I ask myself how any honorable person could be that indifferent to such a major offense being engineered by a key political party.

I believe that only weak people, pre-occupied with focused hate and fully supporting the tools of a vendetta could. Such a person would be blind to the offenses of the people he supports, make ludicrous charges against his perceived evil target with no respect for the truth, as his obsession over-rides all else. Such a person doesn't care about the means, the lies, the abuse needed to destroy their target, and display the same disrespect to any who question his motive and perception. Quite similar to a school-yard bully puffing and ranting, accomplishing nothing but mud-slinging and thinking themselves some kind of power player.

The aggression never ends for you, despite the fact you are beating a dead horse issue with a soggy noodle. The only people who buy into that are people of the same mind-set. Logical people know better.

As I said, reality is that

1- Trump was declared a sexual abuser by a jury of his peers
2- Durham squandered millions of dollars in an investigation that produced ZERO prosecutions.

If you just admit to yourself that reality will never help you make any case, and that you worship Trump the way a religious person follows a religious figure, you'll take a huge step in understanding yourself the way the rest of us already know you think.

After that, you can go on living in your fantasy world. But at least you should admit it to yourself.

I'm not convinced trump will even win the primaries. If he does, it's time to excuse myself from the political process because the nation has gone batshit crazy.

Is there a video of this posted somewhere? I have a hard time believing that a moron like trump made mincemeat out of anyone. Especially off the cuff.

its been a long time since i have taken anything seriously from trump, its amazing he is such a gluten for punishment when he could peacefully live the remainder of his life on a deserted island/golf course just amazing to me...its been evident that his own self/mouth is his worst enemy for years

Amazing how many people have heard trump speak, especially off the cuff, and come away thinking he's anything but a moron.
Shall we see who can post more video clips to support their position? lmao.

I'll tell you what - you start. The first video you post that demonstrates trumps high intelligence will be the fist I've ever seen.

Actually what I've read in the "Times" is she did an excellent job of maintaining composure and decorum even through repeated out of content attacks on her personally.

He may have played well with the MAGA audience, but on the Nation, as a whole, saw him as his usual, a bloviating, self incriminating, buffoon.

That doesn't really support your statement that "Trump whooped the crap out of her". Maybe you can just post an exchange that demonstrates the beating? I'll remain skeptical until then because to date the only wit I've heard from trump is the equivalent of calling someone a stinky poopy pants. He truly is a moron. Change my opinion.

All you have to do is look at as little as one issue. Trump wanted to close the border to illegal immigration; the dems fought the wall- and instead have turned America into the free lunch for anybody in the world.
The moron is in the white house now, and backed up by people of similar intelligence. They don't all wear their tinfoil hats, but they should.

Nobody's perfect. The people calling Trump a moron are typically people that couldn't achieve anything he has, and think their emotions and opinions are "evidence".
But if you can't see the disaster at the border, which Trump acted to prevent and Biden acted to expand and figure out who the fool is- It's probably you.

While Trump has a lot of support and we disagree- we can probably agree that the baggage that's been hung on Trump would make it a difficult presidency if he was elected again. A lot of people voted for Trump on policy rather than personality; I would say the big majority. I've known a lot of top managers that were not glowing personalities, and this job needs a person who knows what is needed and gets things done. In business, you fire anybody that's not on your team. In politics, your ability to do that is quite narrow. We are always in a situation where we are being governed by a committee that is always fighting itself.

I wonder who's going to come out of the woodwork with the right combination of values, goals and ability to get things back on track.
Vivek Ramaswarmy is a very long-shot candidate, that would probably do a great job, IF he could get bi-partisan support, which is probably impossible.
I don't really see any ideal candidates on either side- but if it comes down to Biden/Trump, I'd vote Trump. It's always a choice of evils, they say.

She was attacking Trump nonstop from the first minute. Her job was moderator, not debater.

Everyone everywhere, including the left, have called the town hall a disaster that made Trump look good. That is a whooping.
