Hmm... the country I would want to live in is one that respects my individual freedoms. That protects my individual freedoms, and where the government doesn't believe it's their job to force folks to live only the way they dictate it. the country I would live in protects us, the citizens from those who would rob us of our freedoms.
I voted for wide variety of political views. I would prefer a country which does not have a big concentration of far leftists.
I want to live in a country where everyone minds their own business and never judges the life choices of others.
Where I live now and where I look around me. I hope it stays this way. I know I myself will remain neutral in my views of others. Just let everyone live their life, with fear, manipulation, shaming, judgement, etc. Life is just better that way, for all involved.
Yeah. It’s so much nicer for all involved to live in constant fear and shaming. Sounds like North Korea or Iran would be ideal.
“I guess?” You're not quite sure? It should have been a simple yes or no answer. I asked because the left is pretty much opposed to listening to any ideas which challenge their ideology. I just wanted to see what side you’re on.
I wasn't quite sure because I was waiting to see if you had an agenda. Basically, I want freedom of thought with ground rules. I want everyone to be free to think what they want so long as they don't threaten others to reduce their freedom, make them lose safety, or take over their lives.
So you were unwilling to answer because you weren’t sure where I stand? I think the strongest diversity is diversity of ideas. I think it’s.critical in our society to have a free change of ideas and robust debate. The left wants to shut down debate and have everyone engage in group think.
I prefer diversity in all things except one- nonviolent coexistence. To that end, I want to live in a society where more people are armed, trained, prepared and willing to defend themselves effectively. Currently and historically, the most reliable way to prevent violence is to make violence dangerous. And unfortunately, in order to make violence dangerous, we have to be willing and able to respond to violence defensively with violence.
That is absolutely false. That diversion and protection doesn’t fly. The right / conservatism thrives on challenge and debate. We have confidence in our ideas. We want our ideas to be challenged. That said, we want them challenged factually.
I'm liberal, but I don't actually like diversity. I just believe in freedom and fairness, including for immigrants. Diversity of opinions makes debate more fun, but otherwise it's just other people being wrong and ruining everything.
Honor the God of Creation and His precepts. Not a choice here, but if everyone honored two precepts "loving the Lord your God with all your heart mind and soul, and to love your neighbor as yourself"......it would be paradise!
That’s ironic seeing some of the things you post. Also, which god? Allah? Vishnu? Zeus? Let me guess — your imaginary friend is the bestist
I'd like a variety of political beliefs but the news only gives one or maybe one and a half so I'm usually on my own.
