Not linked to impartiality and/consistency. The only reason “we” the westerN allies were able to hold the Nuremberg trials is because we won WWII with some assistance from the evil empire , the USSR. The only thing that guarantees that evil is punished is might not right alone.

There may have been some unfortunate cases of individual US servicemen behaving poorly but never at the direction of Bush.

The ICC is a recognized international body. The Kuala Lumpur "court" on the other hand:
The former United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Independence of Judges and Lawyers, Param Cumaraswamy, called the KLWCT a private enterprise with no legal basis, and questioned its legitimacy.[15] It does not possess a mandate from the United Nations, nor does the UN grant it recognition. It has no power to order arrests or impose sentences, and it is unclear if its verdicts are anything other than symbolic.[16]

Total load of crap. Russia never did anything good or right and likely never will. All anyone needs to do is look at Russia’s history of evil.

Hot damn, both Bush, Cheney, Rice and the rest were convicted of war crimes back in 2012. Will Putin join him on the list? Not likely.

Such hypocrisy, as Biden has blown up the Nordstream.

Still it is grossly false to even attempt to claim that what Putin has been doing and our experience in Iraq and Afghanistan is in any way equivalent.

People who claim Bush/Putin equivalence decide to ignore Russian genocide in Syria and conveniently “forget” Putin’s /Russia”s war crimes and genocide in Chechnya.

It was the right thing to do to go into Afghanistan but we got bamboozled on Iraq. Still Bush The Younger never ordered our troops to commit war crimes, genocide, or ethnocide. Putin blankety stated that Ukraine should not exist and he obviously commanded his military and mercenaries to commit murder by bombing and firing missiles on Ukrainian civilian targets.

I did see stories, in my Google search, about people involved with the ICC, talking about bringing up charges on people in the Bush Administration. Just no articles about any resolution. In case you missed it, though, I already posted that apparently the Hague Court did not indict Bush, as PBS News said that Putin was the first leader of any first world nation, indicted by the ICC.

*As a side note, in the view of the U.S., the ICC also, "has no power to order arrests or impose sentences, and it is unclear if its verdicts are anything other than symbolic." I understand our unwillingness, to cede our sovereignty, to some international body. Yet, it must be conceded, that attitude, by all nations, is problematic, for establishing any kind of international order of law, that is universally accepted. Of course, we are one of only a few countries, which did not accept the International Court concept. It was adopted in 1998, by a U.N. vote of 120 to 7, with 21 countries abstaining. The others, joining us, in voting against the establishing of a court, were China, Iraq, Qatar, Yemen, Libya, & Israel. These are not the only countries, however, not part of the ICC, because some signatories, never had their legislatures ratify the treaty, such as Russia, Syria, Iran, and Egypt.

Not to mention they forcibly kidnapped children in an attempt to shore up Russia's dying demographics then forcibly deported them to remote rural areas. Yes, mass kidnapping of children is explicitly listed as attempt genocide and crimes against humanity and Putin ordered it himself.

It is even worse than your quote suggests.

Not sure how much you know about Malaysian politics, but the guy who set up the 'court', Malaysian PM Mahatir Mohammad is probably not someone you would look to for credibility in legal matters. He was a corrupt, authoritarian and openly anti-semitic politician with a histor yof anti-Western rants who used the legal system to hound opponents. When his Deputy PM, Anwar Ibrahim, started looking too deeply into corruption he was jailed for 5 years on false charges of having sex with another man before eventually being released on appeal (he eventually became PM almost 2 decades later in 2022).

There is LOTS more, but you get the idea. Anyone familiar with Mahatir's career would view this body with utmost suspicion.

The Malaysian court takes sides with the Islamic world and it is not recognized by the non-Islamic world due to its obvious bias. The ICC has also faced criticisms, including objections to its jurisdiction, accusations of bias and doubts about its effectiveness. Major powers such as the U.S. and China do not recognize the ICC's jurisdiction. The Bush administration threatened prosecution and financial sanctions on ICC judges and staff in U.S. courts.

There was a case of a private security group I think that it was Blackrock or som3thing like that who committed an atrocity. Are you confusing them with our military? If so that is very ungood on your part.

Border guards down Russian thermal drone in Luhansk region.

Ukrainian defenders eliminated 5,820 Russian invaders and 387 units of Russian weapons and military equipment.

"During the week of March 13-19, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 5,820 enemy personnel," in addition Russians lost many weapons and military equipment units. In particular, 66 enemy tanks, 84 armored personnel vehicles, 81 artillery systems, 14 MLRS, 9 air defense systems, 60 vehicles, and 20 units of special equipment were destroyed.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine they’ve eliminated about 164,910 Russian soldiers between February 24, 2022 to March 19, 2023.
including 710 soldiers over the past day.

The kill rate is great but the Ukrainians will need to show results on the ground.

Yes, it is never too late. Let's have another Nuremberg and put the USA into the criminals seat!!
I have not yet seen any justice for my brother and millions of other German POWs being starved and tortured to death on the "Rhine Meadows" by Eisenhower, acting on behalf of the American people = Democracy!!
