If Jesus died for my sins

In much of Protestant Christianity, the motivation is submission to God's will. While a believer goes to heaven, that does not mean everyone in heaven is equal. The concept is that while you have no say as to your status when born into this life, this life is only a series of tests to determine your eternal status in the after-life, which is entirely within your control.
Think of a job. It may not take much to not get fired, but effort can obtain promotion. The lazy ass employee isn't going to make it to being on the board of directors.
The person also has to be repentant - sincerely. It is not sincere if the person actually isn't sorry and won't try to not sin anymore.
That's one explanation anyway.

You say Jesus provided a way, but was it a moral way?

Is it moral for someone to ask you to abdicate your responsibilities for your sins and have another suffer in your place?

You would not teach your children tha. What makes you think Jesus would?

There is not what one would call evidence in myths.

The bible, if read my way, has no conflict with nature as to being our creator.

We are born able and required to do both good and evil, in the sense that when we evolve and cooperate all is good, but when we compete, we crate a loser who will feel evil has befallen him.

Nature would also say that we are born able and eager to sin/do evil, to prove our fitness.

My sins I did willingly and with a song in my heart. If Jesus died for them then that makes him the dumbest person to have existed (and there isn't any proof he did exist beside tales writen decades after his supposed death).

 

It's rather asking a lot to have someone believe in something he did not witness.

 

It depends on the claim.

The god religions and the literal reading of myths, as well as other theologies have been crying wolf forever without showing the tracts or the scat.

Then, loosing all reason, god believers end arguments by telling us to prove there was no god, wolf that is.

Reverse onus that no court or intelligent person falls for.

I think it time to call liars liars. They are costing us a lot of lives for nothing.

Well, I disagree with a lot of that. Modern Christians will acknowledge that the world wasn't created in 7 days: before the Earth was created, there was no axis around which it could rotate. But there are rules for righteous living that done depend on how many days "god" took to create "the world", such as do unto others ....

"Loosing" <losing> all reason is rather overstating the case; it is their reason that brings them to accept a primordial cause for the universe, i.e., god. I won't assume that you are more reasonable than Aquinas, Augustine, and LeMaître. Maybe you are.

No, that's punishing you for refusing to change.

God has two options on the table for you and you get to pick what you want.

God isn't forcing you to do anything.

 

That assumes we can freely choose if we believe in this God or not. I don't think we can.
