See, this is the actually problem. Having been vaccinated doesn't obviously protect anyone else. In fact, the vaccinations weren't designed to help anyone else because clearly, they don't offer any protection on infecting others once you, the vaccinated person, is infected. We know this, and clearly, lots of folks who interacted with the WH teams come away infected. So, when you look at the public health benefits of having been vaccinated, it is hard to actually quantify them. You can, and folks do, still become infected. And folks can, and have died even after their vaccinations. And folks do, and are spreading COVID post vaccination. These are the facts of it. And perhaps having been vaccinated has made the consequences of those infections less lethal (open question not substantively demonstrated in the actual data yet) but that hasn't in any way slowed or otherwise stopped folks from becoming infected.

Yes it does! Vaccinated people are less likely to become infected. You can't infect others if you yourself are not infected.

The data doesn't support your contention. Show the data that demonstrates that vaccinated people were prevented from becoming infected. Most of the Biden administration are the example, if you needed one, that demonstrates just how false this assertion is.

Obviously it's a personal decision, at least it used to be until the government and industry decided they know better than any individual.

I see no need for pharmaceutical intervention to 'protect' me from a virus with a 99% survival rate. More, like the Global War On Terror, these shots were brought under fraud thanks to Pharma and FDA and Warp Speed.

So my question was: What else, besides following CDC guidelines (which include the shots) could they have done to protect themselves? If the answer is "nothing", then you have debunked your claim that they were wrong when they "THOUGHT" they did everything.

And if they did do everything, then they matter. Those who DIDN'T do everything, like the OP describes, don't.

To protect themselves, they needed to inform themselves. They needed to recognize and step back from the massive fear-mongering that the media and government were using, calm down, understand that the IFR for the virus was 1% or less, understand that poor nutrition was a huge factor in poor outcomes after infection, and strengthen their immune systems with nutritional supplements including sunlight.

 

I would think the flu shot more important than the jab to keep from infecting others and reducing death. When's the last time someone told you to feel guilty if you don't get the flu shot? When is the last time 10 year olds were being positioned to have to take a flu shot?
